One Bedroom Loft Style Apartment in Restored Farmhouse

A bright country home that makes up part of a traditional Italian farmhouse (known as a Cascina.) Conveniently located next to the renowned Bogogno Golf Club and less than a 30 minute drive from Malpensa Airport and Lago Maggiore, at the foot of the Alps.



The entire property went through an innovative restoration project, completed in 2022, using environmentally sustainable practices. The renovation brings together contemporary comforts and luxury amenities while at the same time salvaging and celebrating the historical architectural features of the building.



Authenticity is achieved using natural materials such as terracotta, stone and wood, while the extra-large windows and high ceilings typical of the local farmhouse enhances the Cascina charm. The outcome is an alluring eco-resort composed of 11 independent serviced apartments, featuring luxury hotel-level service, set in an idyllic natural environment and luscious gardens.



This unit is on 2 levels, measures about 80 square meters and is composed on the first floor of a large living room with a comfortable double sofa bed, dining area and American kitchen, on the mezzanine floor there is a double bedroom with a 180x200cm bed, and a nice bathroom with large Italian shower. The whole apartment has large full-height windows that open onto the equipped garden and bring a lot of natural light into the apartment all year round.



The technological equipment of the property includes air conditioning, independent heating system, free Wi-Fi, Smart TV, Bluetooth speakers and other basic appliances. Residence amenities include free car parking, reception office, laundry and large common outdoor areas designed to socialize with other guests and local staff.

A lovely base camp

I chose this accommodation because I really liked the furnishings and the layout in the pictures. That was more important to me than taking a second-class and at the same time overpriced accommodation directly on Lake Orta or Lake Maggiore. This definitely turned out to be a very good choice, we felt very comfortable here. The former farmhouse has been lovingly renovated and furnished. We stayed on the first floor, where in addition to the spacious apartment with air conditioning and fully equipped kitchen, you have a wide loggia at your disposal. We enjoyed having breakfast and dinner there. The complex is excellently organised, the car is safely parked in the locked courtyard. The location is well suited as a starting point for various excursions into the beautiful surroundings. The site and also the garden is beautifully landscaped, there is a snack corner for all guests with herbs, tomatoes and fruit. I will definitely come back!
