Hotel imperio has a great location in the center of cremona city. Not far from the hotel location you can find the famous violin museum. Ticket prices about 10 euros. The condition of the rooms is clean and well maintained. The breakfast menu is not diverse. There are only bread, juices, hams and cheeses.
This hotel is located in great place very close to the center of Cremona city near the duomo church the stuff are friendly clean rooms with good breakfast restaurant also there was a market I Wednesday around the hotel also all shops and restaurants around there Totally on of the best hotels in Cremona
This is a nice traditional hotel in a great location right in the centre but not to be stayed at if you want a good nights sleep especially on a Friday night when most of the city are outside your bedroom window taking and drinking or on a Saturday morning when there is a huge market also setting up very early outside your bedroom window! Breakfast is reasonable and car parking is in a Saba underground car park very close by. Probably quieter mid week but then you will not experience the cremonese at play! Great if you want a good late night out without far to walk back. Cremona is a very beautiful city especially at night.
Hotel Impero isnicely situarted at a small squaire close to the Duomo. Very friendly staff at the reception desk. Public parking close by with discount price for hotel guests. Nicely decorated spacious rooms with airco. Well stuffed breakfast buffet.
Located at Piazza della Pace, very close to Museo del Violino and City Center. Modern, renovated hotel with great staff and excellent breakfast. Right in Historic Center and walking distance to main atractions and restaurants.
We had three nights in Cremona at the Hotel Impero. The location of the hotel is u rivalled - the Duomo is literally 50 metres from the front door. The staff are lovely and the hotel is clean and modern. Breakfast was nice but a bit limited - no real hot food - and I found the bed to bed a little hard for my liking. The biggest issue is the noise at night from the bar downstairs. There was loud music and lots of yelling and screaming from patrons in the Piazza outside, well after midnight/1am. Other than the noise, the hotel is lovely and well priced.
Hotel is nice, nicely clean (besides some details in the bathroom). Breakfast nice and full, being filled up constantly. The room could be bigger for the size of the hotel. Staff was friendly and overall impression is very good!
A small, old beautiful building in the very centre of Cremona. Really fine for both young tourists to enjoy parties and noisy cremonian night just outside the hotel, and families to discover ancient buildings and museums around. Very helpful crew and cosy rooms. In the morning we were late for breakfast, but the lady who was working in kitchen, kindly invited us to the table repeatedly asking if we needed something. That was really nice.
This place has a slightly better feel than one of those commercial enterprises, not only because it is excellent value for money and is centrally located but because the lady at the reception was delight and very helpful. The room was clean, beds were comfortable and had all the usual amenities (including strong and fast wi-fi, and plenty of hot water). Our room also had nice views over the neighbouring rooftops and palazzos with the cathedral peeping over. The breakfast was a standard European affair but filling and tasty nonetheless. A highly recommended hotel.
The hotel was fine. The people were fine. Breakfast was fine. The location was fine. The room rate was only 80 Euro for two people, including breakfast, on an event weekend, so it certainly met our needs. There was just nothing exciting about the place, and in fact, Cremonia paled in comparison to our next day in historic Brescia, and that was on a Monday, when most of Brescia was closed! If you want to see the spectacular violin museum, clock tower, cathedral, and, well, that is about it... then this hotel will serve you well. The competing Hotel Duomo was the happening meal spot, but I can only imagine that the noise from so many diners could be a problem at that hotel. Hotel Impero was certainly quiet enough.
