This cottage is exactly as pictured quiet, peaceful, and beautifully set right on the lakeshore. Sara was incredibly responsive and provided clear, concise instructions that made checking in and settling in effortless.It’s the kind of place where you can truly unwind. We spent most of our time outdoors on the deck, soaking in the view, listening to the silence, and just being. The wood-burning stove was perfect in the evenings, and the hot tub was a dream first thing in the morning.You don’t need to bring much just yourself, some food, and a willingness to relax and enjoy. We thoroughly loved our stay.

We loved our stay at the cottage. It was clean, well stocked with kitchen things and outdoor things for our family. The kids each got a room and there were toys for them. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and BBQ. Sara was quick to respond to questions.

We really enjoyed our time at this very quiet place. We'd recommend booking a mid-week stay. Our first days we saw very few people. The stove on the deck was a hit along with the hot tub and pool. There's a perfect spot at the back of the stove for roasting marshmallows and popping corn. Sara was a fantastic host! We'd highly recommend this lovely spot.

We have rented this Sandy Lake cabin for a couple of years now. Every time we have come we feel like it's home. It's a beautiful cabin and the view out the living room window of the lake is so beautiful in the morning, and the evening, sunrise and sunset. You have everything you need to spend a comfortable few nights with friends or family. And the hot tub is a bonus. I recommend you stay and enjoy some relaxation.

Relaxing family get away!

My family and I wanted a place to relax and spend time together without everyday burden of housework and all the distractions. This was a great place for just that! We spent lots of time in hot tub, made a fire in the fireplace & played board games. My kids want to come back in summer with a few cousins to try out the pool and lake.

Very cute little house, we stayed in the winter and enjoyed the hot tub and the wood burning fireplace!Very cozy but you can tell it is a old house and the mattresses were very firm. Would stay again!

A lovely 2 dsys to hide away before Christmas in the deep freeze. The cabin was just whst we needed and was clean, cozy and well appointed. Hot tub was toasty despite the cold. We'd happily come back.

Ladies get away

This is our 3rd stay at the BnB. We absolutely love staying here. We are 4 ladies who scrapbook, all related, enjoy the peace and quiet from busy life. Sooooo peaceful!

I know we stayed midweek but we so enjoyed the peace and quiet which allowed us to hear the birds and watch the muskrats paddle around. We appreciated the many comfortable places to sit and relax outside and the fact that despite the oppressive heat the cabin was very comfortable. Short drive to get to a perfect getaway!

Beautiful little getaway

We were looking for a place close to the city, but far enough to get away from city life- this place is absolutely AMAZING. The sun sets at the back of the cabin- perfect for sunset watching. Home away from Home

There were 4 of us - women's weekend away and this is our 3rd time being here. Sara & Randy are excellent hosts, and are an instant phone call away when we have a question or need anything. Our stay is always so relaxing and fun, and the hot tub is a bonus. We have a beautiful view of the lake, a large deck and the cabin is exactly what we need for the 4 of us. The cottage was a perfect location for a weekend getaway!!! It was perfect for relaxing, cooking, watching the sunset from the hot tub - nothing was missing. Perfect Escape from the Hustle & Bustle

Beautifully appointed, quiet, comfortable, relaxing. Visited during winter season and especially enjoyed luxuriating in the hot tub. Kitchen was perfect and well stocked for cooking meals and even doing some Christmas baking. Host was clear and instructions were simple. Would definitely come back!
