Far and away the very best 'budget' hotel we stayed in on our 5 week trip across Vic. Tas. NSW and New Zealand. Spacious, clean, light and airy room. Easy parking at the door to the room. Good access to the internet (important when you are travelling with kids) and a swimming pool to boot. True, bit of a dinky pool but (again) the kids loved it after a day in the car, even in the rain! All that and a really friendly host (Brian I think). All that and a competitive price. This is how a hotel should be.

This is a great motel with a couple different room types. Stayed in the King Room this time it was a beautiful presented room very quite and comfortable. Meals are always good and owners are very helpful. Highly recommend.

Exellent accomodation with Several types and prices. We chose a queen room. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The room was on the ground floor with the swimming pool outside. We were not disturbed by road noise. The owner was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed a night on way home after christmas. Host was very kind and helpful to us and the room was up the back off the road so no worries about noise. Room was clean and comfortable. A great spot to stop.

We were there for one night on 28 Dec. We were given the whole place consisting of 2 bedrooms, living area and fabulous bathroom for the 2 of us to use. We did not use the main bedroom though as it was not included in our booking but to have so much space to move about was simply delightful. Owners were very helpful, loaned us 2 plates to use in the microwave. Bathroom was very new and amazingly clean. It came with loads of tubes of shampoos, conditioners and soaps. Tea and coffee facilities came with cutely packed shortbread cookies. Room was open plan with loads of power points and USB points. Definitely a plus. No noise at all despite being near highway. Would definitely stay here again. Thumbs up!

This was the best stay my friend and I had at a motel on our recent road trip. For $95 we got a room with a double and single bed. Room was clean and comfortable, and the decor was quite nice. The guy at reception was warm and friendly and even gave us a tour of the room before we took it. Brekky was fabulous - best scrambled eggs I have ever had! I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in a Deluxe Queen room. Very clean and spacious, very modern. Undercover car parking, large balcony overlooking the valley, nice beds, lounge and TV. The hosts were very friendly, provided a clothes laundry service which was very reasonably priced and very convenient.. We treated ourselves to a Motel breakfast on our last day which was excellent value. Would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend this Motel for comfort and value.

Very friendly welcome. Convenient location. Room plain but very good layout and lots of power points and built in USB points. Bathroom brand new and all very clean and tidy. Some noise from trucks at night but not inconvenient.

Great clean and comfy room. We arrived late and it was fantastic to find the heater and light were on making the room warm and welcoming after a long drive. Beds are comfortable, amazing hotwater great toiletries supplied. Would stay here again.

I travel for work and for the other places I have stayed in Cowra, the Econo Lodge is of a high standard. It is on the cheaper end of the scale but is on the higher end of quality. My room was very clean and comfortable. I did not find a microwave but it had everything else including a new RC air-con and large TV. The room was on the smaller side but keep in mind the price. The owners are fantastic hosts. The room service meal was good, closer to home cooked rather than fine dining, not that I am complaining. The pool out the front looked inviting if it was a bit warmer and there is plenty of room for children to run around to get rid of the pent up energy from being cooped up in the car. Great place to stay.
