“Penguin Place” is a delightful double-storey, pet-friendly family home in Cowes just a short walk from the beach and supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Cowes. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
Downstairs is the 2nd Living Room (with TV & speaker dock) which provides access to Bedroom 1 & 2 (each with BIR), a bathroom (with shower & corner spa bath), a separate toilet and the fully equipped laundry (with washing machine & clothes dryer). Upstairs is the large open plan Kitchen/Dining/Living Room (with smart TV, Foxtel, DVD player & movie library) which flows out to the upstairs balcony. On this floor is also Bedroom 3 (which has walk through robes) and another bathroom (with shower & toilet).
Outdoor Areas
The upstairs Balcony has table & chairs for 4 plus a gas BBQ, and there is a large umbrella available too. There is parking in the Single Garage for one car (with access through to the enclosed rear yard - perfect for children and pets alike), plus space for up to an additional 3 cars (and/or a boat) in the driveway and in front of the garage.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Breville pod coffee machine, toaster, sandwich maker, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and induction cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There are two wall mounted reverse cycle airconditioners; one in the downstairs Living Room and another in the upstairs Kitchen/Dining/Living Room, ceiling fans in all three bedrooms plus one in the upstairs Living Room, plus one additional stand-alone fan which can be used where required.

Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Great house, perfect location
This is a great house for a group of friends. The two separate living areas means people don't all have to do the same thing/watch same tv shows, & the barbecue on the balcony was fabulous to enjoy summer weather. Veryclotrestaurants & shops
