The employees are very nice and helpful The restaurant had a great breakfast. The room we had an old cigarette smell that they try to hide with heavy deodorizer. The tub hot water handle turned both directions and never fully turned off, so there was a red water stain from continuous leaking. Chunks of grout were missing in bathroom floor. Gym was unusable (full of stacked chairs) This could be a very nice place if they just took better care of rooms and fixed the problems. Some simple painting and other easy fixes would go a long way.

area was having several festivals and this was the only available vacancy. its well located but there was no pride of ownership. cigarette butts littered walk ways, loud music, conversations, etc. late at night will wake you up.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room cleaning is superficial. They appear to try but don't have the skill to clean in a professional manner. The laundry room dryer has no baffles, so is useless. Many other small things ignored by management.

Breakfast was not very good; bed not too comfy; we won't stay there again

Music thumping till 1 am - beds were clean and comfortable but carpet was filthy - ? We had to sign a release to not hold them responsible for potential bed bugs. We did have the breakfast and that was okay. The staff was trying.

Went for a 2 day golf event at the Homestead and found it very relaxing. Food was much better than expected. The country buffet was very good.

The staff was rude, the room was filthy, and it was loud. There were cigarette ashes in the air conditioning vent, the sheets and blankets smelled of smoke, and we specifically requested a non-smoking room. The check-in process took thirty minutes because they weren't able to find our booking. When the reservation was located, the desk attendant mentioned that we paid $30 more by booking through the site than the hotel was charging for their rooms. Worst hotel experience I've had in years!

The room was not ready when I arrived but was quickly made right. The key card did not work but three employees soon made that right, too. Convenient to my location. Good choice.

Had we driven straight through to our destination, it would have been an 8 hour drive. We decided to stop half way and spend the night before traveling on. This was a nice overnight stay.

Great value, very good restaurant, comfortable room in a scenic location. Nothing negative to say ...you get your money's worth! Stayed overnight on a motorcycle trip and we will be back!

I've stayed before, several years back, and enjoyed my stay then too. Hotel is clean quiet, and well maintained. Bar available, nice and quiet. Free full breakfast in the hotel resturant, is run by local resturant owner and his wife. No game room for the kids or excercise room for those who care. But local bowling alley is less than a mile away.

Just passing through Covington and Best Western was a convenient place to spend night.
