I was greeted by a friendly staff member and she made me feel right at home. It felt like visiting family you haven't seen in a long time. I was offered coffee and a seat to relax as I awaited for the room to be ready. I arrived well before check in time and I was lucky my room became available within 1 hour of showing up. The room was very spacious and clean. The evening in the reception area was very cool as there were pigs and dogs hanging out with us. They brought out a hedgehog to greet us and the 2nd night a rabbit was brought out. It was truly a very cool experience. The staff is very friendly, and the cozy space allows you to meet other travelers. Val Veny and the gondola to Mount Blanc are only a short walk away, less than 10 minutes. Very convenient for me since I didn't have a car. I would defiantly stay there again. Thanks for the good memories.

A really great unique hotel. We loved all the animals in the hotel. They have pigs, dogs, chickens goat and more than are all really cute. The property is conveniently located within walking distance to the Skyway Monte Bianco

Highly recommend! Amazing hotel.

Wonderful staff, in a beautiful location. We went in July and loved it. Great access to hiking. The hotel has amazing views of Mont Blanc. Get a room with a balcony.

We were pleasantly surprised by this small Italian village. The views were worth everything! Staff was helpful and friendly. The extra details, like the fire and the snacks they had out were lovely. The only thing I want to share with others is that in order to get to Chamonix (which is what I put in the search bar when I was looking for places to stay) you have to go through a 7 mile tunnel which costs $60 per round trip. Just keep that in mind when planning. I’d still pay it for this small village though.

The please to stay in Courmayeur!

What a great place to stay! Although Entreves is a bit away from downtown Courmayeur, it is worth it in my opinion, a beautiful little Hamlet and Hotel La Grange was fantastic! The front desk staff were very nice, the room was clean and very nice. The interior decoration of the hotel was very nice, many special little touches. Besides all that, the buffet breakfast was great, lots of choice and good fresh food. I would definitely stay here again.

A gem within a gem.

The Hotel LaGrange is a hidden gem in Entreves, which is itself a hidden gem in the Courmayeur area. It is like time travel to a slower, more personal era, amongst the tiny winding streets, with stone buildings in the shadow of Mt Blanc. The people are very friendly and always accommodating. There is a lovely bar for an apperitivo and there is always a fire in the fireplace with its built-in seating area, which is my favorite part. The rooms are super clean without too much extra stuff. Wood furniture, natural materials, some mountaineering antiques and always a stunning, stunning view. There is a garage (10 euros) or parking on the street. Breakfast is nice. I can't wait to go back!

Highly recommend this hotel for the fabulous staff and stunning setting. The staff and owner are extremely friendly, welcoming and so helpful with any queries. They really made our stay so relaxing and enjoyable. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Good wifi. There are great restaurants close by and the village is stunning.

Very enjoyable weekend break.

Enjoyed a lovely extended weekend at La Grange - would go back. Rooms were very comfortable and very clean - the mattresses were good quality and provided a very comfortable nights sleep. Breakfast was extensive and very good. The hotel is located in a small hamlet outside of the main resort so unless you get a taxi (or the illusive resort bus) then you are restricted to a small selection of restaurants in and around the hotel. The hotel kindly let our group have an extended checkout until 3pm which was much appreciated. Walk to the nearest lift is about 10 minutes - 350 metres. The hotel seems to be busiest at weekends so if you can get to the resort in the week and avoid the weekend then you should be able to get a good deal.

I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. Fantastic location in the charming Entréves area just outside Courmayeur. Clean, spacious bedrooms. Good breakfast. Lovely lounge and bar area. The staff were unbelievably welcoming and friendly - particularly Sandrino & Davide - and really made our stay. Very convenient for local ski lifte - the Skyway lift is just 250m from the hotel, but the hotel also organises a regular free shuttle into Courmayeur itself which is approx. 5 minutes away. There are several good restaurants within 3 minutes walk of the hotel. Would not hesitate to recommend La Grange and hope to return soon!

Character hotel/B&B in the shadow of Monte Bianco

Stayed at Hotel La Grange several times previously over the past dozen years, so I feel I can judge based on past experiences. The Hotel La Grange is a quaint, cosy mountain B&B which oodles character and history in the public areas. Deep recessed fireplace, lovely character wood in furniture and exposed beams and lintels that create a rich tapestry of history and familiar ambience. The staff as always were welcoming, polite, and genuinely pleasant. Breakfast has a wide range of cheeses, breads, cereals, croissants, juices, local charcuterie, fruit, yoghurts, jams, honeys, and more!! (Sadly the coffee is now made by pod-machine as a self-service, not a patch on a real espresso.) However, the wifi needs a boost as it is best only in the reception area. The room 18, although billed as a "large double" needed to be a tad larger to be more comfortable, with hotter water, better noise insulation, and a real shower rather than over-bath as the eaves slope means you need to crouch.
