Very interesting off grid dome. Love the generator and outdoor shower with hot water. Nice setup. The AC and the heat were plenty for the dome in May. Great views and easy access to the river at Wildcat public Access.

Unfortunately we were not well informed on the heating situation until the morning of check in. The wood burning stove that is listed in the description and in the pictures... does not exist. It is a generator under the deck with a plug in fireplace. It definitely kills any romantic mood you might be feeling listening to a generator and smelling gas. Unfortunately it ran out of gas in the middle of the night and instead of getting fully dressed and going outside to attempt to gas it up, we hunkered down in 3 layers. The next morning we went to gas it up and the pour spout on the gas can wouldnt work.... None of the lights were charged or worked when we checked in, the cable needed to charge the dead water pump was no where to be found, the speakers on the record player were terrible, the solar panel to charge the jackery was missing, the bbq utensils were covered in charcoal ash, two out of the three kitchenette drawers were broken, and there were no extra blankets as advertised. We packed our own power, our own lanterns, and copipus amounts of wood for a stove that didnt exist. Needless to say my husband woke up on his actual birthday, packed up the truck and we left and went home. This place is well suited for a warm June day. I guarantee our expierence would have been different.
Loved the view. So if you like camping but want a much better experience this is it. You get nice comfy bed, a shower, toilet (compostibg) but better then sh——ing in the woods, some electricity and even some AC, but remember this is glamping and not a full service hotel!! Loved the stay, ill be back again

The location is entirely off-grid, providing a beautiful view and a serene atmosphere in the middle of nowhere. The space is clean and cozy. I would only recommend it for the fall or winter. There is a portable air conditioner that you have to connect to a generator and add gas and start yourself. It took about 6-8 hours to cool down to upper 70s/low 80s during our visit. Please note that the shower water line/hose was not connected to the shower head, and there was overgrown grass/weeds on the path leading to the shower area. (Shown in photo, I’m 5’11 for height reference) Additionally, the bathroom is compostable only. There is a motion-activated security camera/light that went off all night due to bugs flying around. The absence of curtains didn’t bother us since we left at 5:30 AM before sun came up to go fishing for the day.
