Enjoy a wonderful holiday in this magnificent, detached holiday home in beautiful, green setting! This newly built, detached and sustainable holiday home is located on the Kromme Rijn in Cothen.

The luxury holiday home features a modern open kitchen, where you can cook your meals. The French doors in the kitchen provide direct access to the spacious terrace. This is the perfect spot to experience that true holiday feeling; make yourself comfortable on the lounge set from early in the morning until late at night. Your holiday home features two spacious double bedrooms, both equipped with en-suite bathrooms. The amazing interior and the level of style and character throughout this holiday home are the result of the creative owner's careful furnishing.

You'll be staying in the Kromme Rijn area, near the Utrecht Hill Ridge, which is known for its culture, cycling, canoeing and walking routes. It's also known for the many cherry orchards and annual cherry festival. The green landscape and the Utrecht Hill Ridge location offer many opportunities to enjoy nature. How about a nice walk on one of the waymarked trails, or exploring the surroundings by bicycle? The Soester Duinen natural area is less than a 20-minute drive away. And it's no more than 30 minutes by car to the attractive town of Utrecht, which is well worth a visit. It offers a good mix of culture and shopping, as well as plenty of nice restaurants to enjoy a meal. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the pleasant town of Amersfoort either, which offers a wide range of shops, bars and restaurants for a great day out.

Tolles Haus, auch wenn wir die Lage ruhiger erwartet hatten
Wir hatten eine wirklich tolle Woche in dem wunderschön eingerichteten Haus!! Dennoch einige Hinweise, die für andere vielleicht hilfreich sind: - die Brücke, die direkt an der Terrasse entlang führt, ist eine offizielle Fußgänger- + Radlerbrücke - was uns teilweise gestört hat, ist, dass diese Brücke (Sprungturm) und die auf der anderen Seite gelegene inoffizielle "Badebucht" an Sommertagen + Ferien stark als Schwimmbad + Treffpunkt der Dorfjugend genutzt wird - die in einer anderen Bewertung erwähnte Bundesstraße in ca. 100 m Entfernung ist ebenfalls ganztägig gut befahren und sichtbar - die Terrasse ist in der Mitte geteilt. Die linke Seite gehört zum Garten der Vermieter, wurde aber während unseres Aufenthaltes von ihnen nicht genutzt, so dass man quasi doch alleine auf der Terrasse ist. - Das Haus ist über eine Tür im Flur mit dem Haus/Grundstück der Vermieter verbunden. Bevor jetzt jemand denkt, dies sei eine Mängelliste - was es nicht ist!!! - hier die Punkte, die uns den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gemacht haben: - Bettwäsche wurde gestellt - Handtücher hätten wir jederzeit wechseln lassen können - Senseo-Maschine inkl. Pads, Kaffee, diverse Teesorten wurden gestellt - ebenso vorhanden: Spülmittel + Tabs, Salz + Pfeffer, Flüssigseife an allen Waschbecken, Föhn, ... Unser Fazit: Das Haus ist wundervoll, die Terrasse mit der Lounge war unser absoluter Lieblingsplatz. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub - auch wenn wir es noch ruhiger erwartet hatten. DANKE

Sehr schönes Objekt, für kürzere Aufenthalte geeignet.
Die Fotos zum Objekt lügen nicht, es ist wirklich sehr schön am Krommen Rijn gelegen und die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr schick und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Uns war vorher allerdings nicht so klar, dass es tatsächlich kein Wohnzimmer oder wenigstens einen Aufenthaltsbereich im Haus gibt. Das Ganze wird wohl überwiegend für Bed & Breakfast genutzt, deshalb gibt es auch in der (großen) Küche rechts und links jeweils nur einen Tisch mit zwei Stühlen. Außerdem befindet sich dort eine gut ausgestattete Küchenzeile. Sonst gibt es tatsächlich nichts weiter. Keinen Sessel, keine Couch, kein TV, kein Radio, keine Waschmaschine, keinen Wäscheständer. Wir waren mit zwei Kindern 14 Tage dort, das war noch gut auszuhalten, wir waren aber auch viel unterwegs. Umso schöner ist natürlich die große Terasse mit den gemütlichen Möbeln vorm Haus und die Tisch-Bank-Kombination zum Essen neben dem Haus. An letzterer haben wir mehrmals unser Gegrilltes gegessen. Ein Kugelgrill mit Besteck ist vorhanden. Noch eins vielleicht: In etwa 50 m Entfernung verläuft die relativ stark befahrene Landstraße N229. Normalerweise hört man von der nicht viel, uns ist aber (im August 2022) aufgefallen, dass gerade auf diesem Teilstück immer wieder das Beschleunigungsvermögen von Autos und Motorrädern mit besonders knatternden Motoren getestet wurde, was dann doch recht nervig, vielleicht aber auch nur ein temporäres Phänomen war.
