A quiet oasis near the autobahn

Simple, yet nice and clean hotel that is conveniently located near the A9 autobahn. We spent a night here while heading through Germany and enjoyed the quiet location. The village is very quiet and a nice place to wind down after a day on the road. The room was not the most modern, but clean and comfortable. The only thing we missed was air conditioning as it was quite warm at night, but this is rarely available in Germany for some reason. Our two year old also enjoyed the playground across the street.

Nice rooms, v. questionable food hygeine

Room was clean and big, shower had good pressure, bed was comfortable. However, breakfast was not hygienic, flies and insects were on the food on display including the bread, meat, and fruit- quite revolting. The milk I was given for my coffee seemed to have been used by a previous guest and the cups/ utensils were not clean. Despite the low of the breakfast, the other aspects of the hotel were good

Great value Hotel!

I booked this hotel on Hotels.com the day I intended to stay. I was traveling and on my way to Wittenberg. This place was just what I was looking for! I got a single room that was clean, sizable, and quiet. The hotel has a very good restaurant and bar. I had the schnitzel for dinner and took advantage of the included breakfast the next morning. They were both excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a place to stay that's close to A9 or Wittenberg, but don't want to pay the outrageous prices, this is it! I definitely recommend.
