This small hotel has everything, including a spa. The breakfast was excellent. The location was terrific, very close to the main street and many good restaurants. The staff was extremely helpful and flexible. There is a roof top terrace that gives a great view of the city...and you can order drinks up there-a definite plus. Free parking is available in their own lot nearby. All in all, a great choice.
We booked two rooms for one week stay end of September paid fortune after looking at all reviews. This is nice and clean place. The rooms are ordinary and so is hotel. I would say it is like good Guesthouse. Definitely not value for money. Staff is good. Rooms are very noisy at least the one we had. reasonable breakfast and good location. By the way you have to pay £20.00 for using SPA. No restaurant in hotel for Lunch or evening meal only breakfast. Very over priced and over rated. Definitely not 4 star.
We recently stopped here for a week and had a fabulous time. The hotel was well equipped and in a great location to explore Olbia and surroundings. We hired a car and explored the top half of the island - we were able to park at the hotel for free. The view from the rooftop terrace is simply stunning. Sardinia is well worth a visit - lovely beaches, villages, towns, wine and food. Would thoroughly recommend. We are definitely going back.
Stayed here for 3 nights. Took a taxi from the airport (expensive!). Lovely, centrally located hotel, in quaint cobbled streets. Glad we didn't have to drive around the streets though, as they are very narrow. We were very warmly welcomed by Francesca, who took us to our room after showing us the fabulous roof terrace, which is a real bonus feature for the hotel, although sun umbrellas would be useful here during the day. Room was pleasant, though we booked a standard room so there was no view as such. Very clean and loved the spacious marble bathroom and fabulous shower. Breakfast buffet was lovely. The hotel feels like a family run establishment and the staff seem to care about their guests. Only one minor request - if you are going to offer snacks for sale at lunchtime, could you provide more than one choice of sandwich filling? We were told that ham-and-cheese was the only option.
The Panorama is in a great location, right in the heart of the old city. There is private parking a few metres away from the hotel and a staff member was there to park and return our car. We had a very comfortable large room for three adults, it was only on the second floor but had a pleasant outlook in two directions. The bathroom was very large with both bath and spacious shower and was well equipped. The rooftop panorama terrace was a great place to unwind in the evening with a drink and a snack. Breakfast was good with a selection of fresh fruit, hot dishes, etc. The staff were friendly and helpful and prepared to do anything to make our stay more pleasant.
The hotel is very close - less than 5 mimutes- to the old town located in a quiet, narrow street. The building is old but completely renovated to a luxury standard on 6 floors including a roof garden with fantastic views over the old town and harbour. There are about 40 rooms - ours was on the 4th floor and was fully air conditioned with a large en-suite. It was nicely furnished with quality items. All floors are serviced by lift. Wifi service was very good but occasionally went down for a few hours. Breakfast served on the ground floor was excellent and varied. Staff were very helpful. The hotel has a private car park two minutes walk from the hotel. A very comfortable 4 * hotel well worth the visit
We stayed here for 10 days and has a brilliant time. Customer service from the hotel was fantastic when we checked in we were given all the information about our area from restaurants, bus location, bus, and train timetable and information on the local beaches. Our room was clean and large for our 10 days. I have a thing about mold smells in a hotel room and dirty bathrooms our room was spotless and did not smell :-) Our stay included breakfast and the selection of food was really good. While staying here we used all the modes of transport to get around and it was so easy. From the airport don't get a taxi just jump on the bus its 1euro get your ticket from the information desk or it is 1.50 on the bus. We did the boat tour via the hotel which was a brilliant day being September is was 40euros each. We also booked a wine tasting tour also which was really good as we bought our wine from there. There is a large supermarket down the road and we brought lots of bit for our room and drinks to have on the rooftop at sunset which was lovely and chilled. You can order drinks to the rooftop. I have to say again the staff really made our stay as they were always there to help and were so happy. Thank you, Panorama we miss you already.
The hotel is right in the centre of town but down a side street so nice and quiet. I am a single lady and felt very safe walking around Olbia. My room was nice but a bit gloomy as not much natural light coming into the room and the dark furniture and curtains didn't help. But the room and bathroom was lovely and clean and the bed was comfortable. I didn't have a kettle in my room and it pointless in switching on the TV as no suitable channels for us Brits to watch. There was loads of choice for breakfast but when I'm on holiday I do like to have bacon and eggs....they are on the breakfast buffet but stone cold! The roof top terrace is really lovely. The staff are great and very helpful and would return to this hotel if I could have a room with more windows!
Can't really fault this modest clean hotel in the heart of historic Olbia .maybe tissues in bathroom and a couple of glasses would have been a nice touch but only nit picking . Overall I d highly recommend The Hotel Panorama and so glad we spent our week based here . The spa is a must with 1.5 hours at €22 each for exclusive use.
We enjoyed our stay here, our room was a good size and comfortable and the hotel is close to the main drag. Staff were delightful and helpful. Breakfast was included and quite good and the roof top terrace was nice to visit with a drink. The hotel is in a tiny street with off site parking, and our gps kept trying to take us down a no go street. In the end we had to get a staff member to take the car and park it. So note drivers, the car park and hotel are accessed via Giuseppe garibaldi st. Recommended.
