We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights and did day trips from here. It is located in the center of Olbia, so you can walk down to eat, drink or just stroll through the city at night. Is has its own car park which is very good since there is not much parking possibilities on the streets. The rooms are clean and spacious. Staff is very helpful, excellent service. Breakfast quality is the only thing they could improve.
I stayed at this lovely small hotel and was very good. The service was personal and it is located in the center of Olbia. There is plenty of restaurants and shops walking distance. It's also about 10 minutes from the airport. The wifi is free and fast and the air conditioning is perfect. Decoration is not modern but classic which is fine. There is no pool or beach but it's still a great hotel to stay.
We didn't stay at this hotel, but we should have stayed there. It was in the middle of the city, near everything and the hotel looked beautiful. The service was excellente! The people in the reception was friendly and good in english. The let med and my girlfriend have drinks in the bar and going to the roof for a view and pictures from the roof. It was a amazing panorama over the city of Olbia at night and one of the employes in the reception was following us up and took a nice picture of us and the city. Recomend this hotel for a room or some drinks and a fantastic view.
We loved our stay in Olbia. We stayed for seven days and it was a pleasure. Every day we were greeted warmly, whoever was on duty and whatever time it was. When we arrived we were shown where we would have breakfast, the roof terrace and our room - something you don't normally get. I think the Hotel Panorama benefits from being quite small so you have proper personal service - far better then the aloofness of staff in a huge hotel IMHO. The photos of the the accommodation are reflective of the rooms. Yes, there is not a great view from a first floor window, but seriously, what do you expect in the centre of a town? (or am I missing something?). There was a kettle in the room and a hairdryer in the bathroom. Our room was beautifully made up every day. The air conditioning was very good ( we were there when temperatures were around 40 degrees!) Breakfast was plentiful with fruit juices, coffee, tea, water, cereal, cold meats and cheeses, fresh fruit, yogurt, cakes (!!!), 4 different sorts of croissant and bread. There was also some boiled eggs, mushrooms and scrambled eggs in the hot section, but given the temperature, we didn't try it. The roof terrace was perhaps the coolest place in Olbia as the breeze was greater here than anywhere else! We sat in the shade under the solar panels for some extra relief and in the sun. Both were lovely. You could have drinks served up on the roof if you wanted by phoning down. There was a price list there, so you knew what you were going to pay. The hotel is conveniently located in the historical centre and it is easy to access the coast, bars and restaurants. The staff are very knowledgeable and keen to help. If I had one, small, gripe it would be that we could hear the coffee machine (the three taps to clear the coffee grinds from the previous use) being used in the morning from our room, but then we were directly above it. I honestly would return. It was great!
Good clean hotel. Located a block off a popular street near the heart. Plenty of restaurants within quick walking distance. Internet. Quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. They set me up with a rental car making it easy for me. I'd stay there again. Seems to be tough to get rooms so must be popular.
Very friendly and helpful staff. They helped with car rental as well as arranging a late check out. Room was nice and clean. A roof from which you could see all over Olbia. Excellent coffee for breakfast. Would definetely recommend to stay here.
The hotel is sparkly clean, with friendly and helpful staff. The location is the best one could think of. The terrace overlooking the city and the port is a great bonus. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you all at hotel Panorama!
We booked this hotel because of the excellent reviews and the photos of the panoramic rooftop view (hence the title). Whilst it is very central and the views from the top were absolutely magnificent, we were a little disappointed in the hotel itself, bit outdated and the staff on the front desk made it seem it was quite a chore when we asked for a little information about sightseeing and tours, etc. breakfast was quite varied and enjoyable apart from one morning when the eggs and bacon were absolutely stone cold. One ray of sunshine in the morning was Monika, who made beautiful coffee and welcomed us every morning with a big cheerful smile and was an absolute delight!! The upshot - good central base, great rooftop area, don't expect too much - but you will enjoy Monika's big smile.!!
We stayed only one night. We were catching a ferry to Livorno the next day. We had booked a superior room and were upgraded to a junior suite. The hotel was spotlessly clean and our room was comfortable and well set out. The reception staff were exceptional. Welcoming and extremely helpful. The hotel is so close to the main town centre, cafes, restaurants. A great place to stay in Olbia.
We stayed in Olbia only one night as our flight was leaving from there to back home. So we reserved the Panorama hotel for the accommodation as it had a lot of good reviews. That was enough for us as the city centre is quite small and there are basically only 2 shopping streets. Hotel is very nice, but it was a bit challenging to find because the Olbia city centre is very old and streets are very narrow. We arrived with car and our navigator did't find the route to hotel so we ended up leaving the car close by and walking to the hotel. The friendly staff ended up driving our rental car to the hotel parking space for us. As a tip, if you arrive with car put the navigator coordinates to hotel parking area and it's a lot easier to come to hotel, the hotel address is harder to get to with car due to one directional streets and very narrow corners. It's good to know that the main street Corso Umberto is closed for the cars in the afternoon, if you are arriving with car.
