Amazing hotel. Absolutley spotless, rooms lovely , staff couldnt do enough for you. Entertainment at night very good, good variety. The food on offer was really nice especially the bakery & grill . I would give this hotel 5 star but dropped one star for one reason. You cannot get a sunlounger unless you queue up an hour before the pool opens along with the majority of the hotel. You then have to run when doors open like a crazy person to get a sunlounger . This has to be seen to believed and would be so funny if it wasnt embarrassing. Iv been travelling abroad over 20 years and have never seen this anywere else. Hilarious 🤣🤣
I went to H10 Salauris Palace for a week in September with my husband and 5 year old daughter. We went out of school holidays which was great, I had read allot of reviews about problems with getting sun loungers, queues etc but thankfully we didn’t experience any such problems! We went half board, the food was great, plenty of choice and always hot. Drinks are not included but are very reasonably priced. €2.80 for a pint of beer and €2 for a glass of wine. The hotel itself is lovely. Very clean and has everything you will need. The pool area was very nice, however the pool was always absolutely freezing! Our room was very nice and spacious, lots of wardrobe space and hangers. Plus the bonus of a fridge. We had a pool view. The entertainment team and kids club were brilliant. My daughter loved going every afternoon and we would see them having adventures around the hotel. The only downside I would say about having a pool view is the noise of the evening entertainment. It is extremely loud. We stayed up most nights to watch it but if you are going to bed earlier or enjoy sitting on the balcony in the evening I would definitely recommend getting a room at the front of the hotel. The hotel location is great, only a 5 min walk to local shops and restaurants. And about a 10 min walk to the beach. PortAventura is literally across the road so a great location if you are going there. Overall this is a great hotel and will defiantly be going again!
My husband and I stayed in this hotel the first 2 weeks in October. What a fab holiday we had. Simply brilliant. Great hotel. Food excellent and plentiful. Choice was amazing. At times the dinning room was very busy but we found a time that we went for evening meal before it got too busy. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The showers of a high standard. Cleaning was done every day with fresh towels. Entertainment was very good. Loved the Micheal Jackson tribute. It was very well performed. The day and nite staff always polite and worked really hard to keep people happy. Pool was cold but that's often the case in many hotels. We spent most times enjoying the adult only roof top. What a hidden gem that was. Solau is not my favourite place to holiday but this hotel is by far above any other in the area. One of the best holidays We have had. We are returning next year and can't wait. Lots of things to do and we were lucky that the world rally was on and it was great and all the cars drove buy our hotel.
We went to H10 Salauris back in September but I've only just got round to my review. This was our second visit, the first being around the same time last year. We returned simply because this hotel is fantastic, that is all I really need to say! I am not a great fan of Salou, it is too much of a 'tourist trap' for me, but staying at this hotel you can simply walk up the road, jump on a train and go to lovely places like Tarragona and Barcelona. The hotel is clean, modern and everyone is so friendly. The pool area is great, and we always got sunbeds when we wanted them (admittedly not too often as we were always out and about). Even the evening entertainment was, on the whole, pretty good. This is one of the best hotels we've been to when it comes to the food. It's the usual buffet style you get in most hotels these days but the quality and variety is excellent. Fresh food is brought out right up until the end of service (where a lot of places stop bringing out new lots around 1/2 hour before close). The paella's are as good as any I've had in restaurants. Rooms are a decent size, housekeeping is great. All in all, a great place. We love it and will be back again I'm sure. A BIG thank you to all of the staff.
Stayed at the H10 Salauris Palace with other family members in September 17. Had a very enjoyable stay in this central hotel , handy for shopping , amusement park , eating out , visiting all the attractions and the port. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean , very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Has very friendly , helpful staff, who will assist you with any questions you may have . Rooms are very comfortable and plenty of space , had a pool view which was lovely Food was always really good with plenty of choices , you’d never go hungry here! More organised system of entering and leaving restaurant than other H10 hotels I’ve stayed at , which was a welcome change . My granddaughter enjoyed the mini disco every evening as did the adults watching it too. The three male singers are an absolutely fantastic show ( I’m afraid their name escapes me at the moment ) but don’t miss them if you are there , very enjoyable evening !!! By far the best !!! I would not hesitate to go back to this hotel , we had room 232 which was on 2 nd floor, 2nd room away from the lifts and facing the pool. This was a superb location and surprisingly very quiet. Highly recommend this hotel to couples, singles and families , all would enjoy it here .

good hotel with good choice of food . in a good location close to theme park and town centre and beach only thing required better evening entertainment show didn't start till 10 pm and was finished by 11 pm no music in between
Love this hotel, it's staff, dining etc are second to none. Had a room 218 on a lower floor than usual, and loved it, The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the view of the pool excellent. The dining room, excellent food, great selection and friendly staff. Overall, the staff make the stay in this hotel perfect. Plus now sun beds have been put out in the morning it's much better and easier than lifting them yourself. A great holiday.
My wife and I returned to the same Hotel we had previously been at in Salou, The four star, H10 Salauris Palace. This was the second time in this hotel and twice before in a nearby hotel. Salou is one of my top destinations, along with Cyprus, Malta, Lanzarote and the Scottish Islands. We really enjoy visiting the Catalonian region and there is so much to see and do there, including visiting Barcalona. On our arrival at the Hotel, we were received pleasantly and efficiently. Although we had to wait before our room was ready, we were allocated a family room on the first floor. We were given free use of the fridge and safe.I have attached photographs of the room, bathroom, balcony and view from the balcony. It was very clean and more than sufficient for our requirements. It overlooked the poolside entertainment area and the acts went on until 11:00pm each evening. The wifi worked very well throughout the Hotel. We had breakfast and evening meals in the restaurant. The food was of a high standard for these meals with plenty of variety. We enjoyed cereal and fruit at breakfast time, though strangely there was no muesli, and in the evening fish, chicken and steak. There was plenty of vegetables on offer and we were fully satisfied with our meals. The restaurant staff were very efficient and polite to us during our stay. On this occasion we did not use the pool or the gym but we remember enjoying using them on our last visit. It is a short 10 – 15 minutes walk from the hotel to the shops and waterfront. A major part of our holiday is walking along the Ramblas and on our first full day we walked to the beautiful fishing village of Cambrils, approximately 5 miles from our Hotel and came back by bus. The bus service is very good and we used it to visit Tarragona and Reus. We bought a 10-journey ticket, which meant we had discounted travel plus the convenience of not needing to search for the fare. Tarragona has the bronze statue of the Human Pyramid, commemorating the enactment of building to a peak of people standing on the shoulders of those below, as well as the well-preserved Roman remains of the Amphitheatre, passageways and other buildings (see the attached photograph). I find these remains astounding! We also saw the Major Annual Fiesta in Reus (photograph attached), and walked along the procession. Again, this was excellent. I have no hesitation recommending this Hotel as well as Salou and Catalonia.
Arrived in Salou only 15 minutes transfer from airport which was great. Check in was great as our room was ready early although not everyone’s was. Our room well it was very basic and to be honest not very clean still hand prints on mirrors and floors were dirty as I said very basic. We paid our €14 at check in for our tourist tax and did get a bill another twice in our stay asking for it we did go and advise them this was paid when we checked in and that was that. Food well we got a bit sick of it however a lot of fish choices etc dining room was very busy at times but staff coped well. Entertainment never really started till 10pm for adults and 9pm for kids but wasn’t up to much. This hotel is a few minutes walk to Ferrari land or Port Aventura which is great and only a few minutes walk into town where beach is so greatly placed for everything. Heated swimming pool you need a swimming cap €2.50 which isn’t bad. There’s a Turkish Bath and Sauna which is excellent and use as many times as you like. Gym was good as well. Roof top jacuzzi is great and very quiet so great if you are adults on holiday. Would I go back no not really as the room was very disappointing we were in a 4 star last year and we were spoiled so I compared that to this one. Salou is very commercial now I’ve been 5 times now but this hotel is great if you are going for the parks.
