Location Location Location. As well as being a lovely hotel, spotlessly clean with excellent staff. Very good facilities and good variety of evening entertainment. We stayed B&B breakfast was very good. Would highly recommend this hotel
Good friendly hotel. Clean, food reasonable lots of choice. Couple of complaints when we first came one night no hot water another night ants behind fridge but once reported staff sorted very quickly. Definitely would return.
Hotel is great, rooms are clean and appear recently renovated, grounds are immaculate, staff are very friendly, but seasonal aircon??? It is currently 25'C outside with sun directly onto 50% of the hotel rooms, internal temperature closer to 30'C. After speaking to reception I am politely informed the aircon is only turned on in June. Today is 13th May and we are melting in our rooms. This is absolutely not the expected behaviour of an H10, 4 star Hotel. Rooms are unbearable, it is cooler in the corridor. Reception have promised to speak with the manager in the morning; post will be updated then.
We arrived here on Thursday the 10th (booked with H10 club and received 5% off) The room is very basic and small, air con is rubbish. You’re better off leaving your balcony door open. On the first night (between 7pm and 9pm) we were getting ready to go out and was listening to music from my phone and received a call from reception to say someone had complained about the volume. It wasn’t loud! Last night we stayed in to watch the Eurovision and security came to the room to rudely tell us to lower it down. But our neighbours were up at 7am this morning banging around and blaring music and thats acceptable? We were charged €18 for use of the fridge which doesn’t really work, our sink in the bathroom was leaking and we had to complain and the wiring from one of the lamps is sticking out and not working. Rooms are not cleaned properly, floors not swept and yesterday our bins were not emptied. We asked at the bar for a glass of ice to bring up to the room and were told they dont provide that. The only positive thing about this hotel is its adults only and its close the everything but if you like a room where you can speak freely and get a decent nights sleep, DO NOT stay here.
Hotel is quite nice, some of the male reception staff are very rude and unhelpful. Our room had a fridge but it had a lock on it so we couldn’t use it without paying extra. Bit bazar for a so called 4 star hotel. Air conditioning was the worst I’ve come across in any hotel I’ve stopped in. Hotel deserves 2 or 3 stars at best.Salou is very noisy of a night and full of large groups of drunken yobs who shout all night at the top of their voices until at least 5:00 am. Not the sort of place decent people would want to visit.
We stayed from 1st -8th May. The Hotel was amazing so clean, all staff were brilliant and helpful, especially at the Bar and Restaurant. Food was brilliant and plenty of choices. Rooms were cleaned everyday and were spotless as were all areas in the Hotel. Would definitely recommend and return.
Stayed here for a week and had a fantastic experience, whilst there is some soundproofing issues with rooms, we still had a great night sleep so don't let that put you off. Food was really good to each day and the restaurant and bar staff are very helpful and provide an excellent service. The coffee room attached also has a really nice team and that are sure to provide a fantastic service. LGBT friendly hotel, fantastic cocktails, a great place to really relax and very close to a long strip of local souvenir shops, cafes, restaurant and the beach! Really recommend this hotel, we will be recommending this to our friends and family.
We have just returned, having stayed 10 nights. On the plus side: excellent location for all amenities, very clean and tidy, friendly staff, excellent choice at breakfast, reasonable in the evening. On the negative side: paper thin walls so you can hear the conversation in the next rooms, hopeless wifi (it was 'upgraded' whilst we were there and didn't work again in the rooms), breakfast doesn't open until 7.45am so we couldn't get anything to eat or drink before leaving to fly home. Overall we wouldn't stay there again because of the lack of soundproofing. I would say this is more of a 3.5 star than a 4 star.
Hotel is very clean and the reception and pool areas are lovely. The beds are rock hard, but we where provided with mattress toppers. Our room was the noisiest room I’ve ever stayed in. You can hear the people in the room next to you coughing and talking. All night there was doors banging and people talking. Breakfast was OK but too many people to make it a pleasant experience. I would not stay in the hotel again.
My husband and I had different opinions, some the same some a bit different , hotel it's self immaculate very beautiful , we only had breakfast and both found it very fine great choice of everything for most nationalities, my opinion hotel is in process of improving alot of things , I heard bad reviews about the beds being to hard and springs sticking into you , not the case what so ever , unless recently ours just changed, beds are very fine they are a harder bed but they way a bed should be for postures, not overly hard either but comfortable, we had the safe changed while staying here they where key safe which was annoying and now are changed to code this is where I seen improvement, wifi was grand but they changed that while here and it was good then went crap, could just be teething problems so look for later reviews to see if any improvement , these are all things I could live with , mostly older crowd stay at this hotel but there are 30 to 50 age group to , to be honest alot of older group come to salou in general and families, now only thing I really would complain about is the thin walls , others have said it in reviews which is very very true but I heard of another couple there hotel very same thing and they were not in a H10 hotel group hotel at all so , location of this hotel is definitely best in my opinion for salou , so to sum it up great hotel , improving for guests so they care , if they sorted out the walls it would be perfect , I would stay again cause I can see them improving, if you think you can get a better hotel let it be in this area , location is bang on .
