Very nice hotel and apartments the apartment we had was great 2 bedrooms 2 balcony's the living room is large with everything you need for self catering only criticism very bland no pictures on wall and no bedside lamps it was cleaned every day all the hotel staff were lovely any little problem was sorted out straight away. Very nice pool area , I can't comment on the food as we didn't eat in the hotel. The area has a lot of camp sites and the beach is gritty a nice walk to Blane's along the promenade.

Myself and a group of friends stayed here for the Barcelona Grand Prix, as first impressions go the reception/bar/pool areas looked very modern with up to date decor. Unfortunately the rooms left at lot to be desired! On entering the room we were greeted by a damp musty smell, so straight away the balcony door was opened to air the room out! As the room was just somewhere to get our heads down, we let it slide, but upon using the shower for the first time we realised why we could smell damp! The wet room type shower had no slope toward the drain, so by the time I'd finished freshening up to go to the Grand Prix, the whole room had flooded! Not impressed! Upon further inspection you could see where the table and chairs had swelled with water ingress! So probably not the first time it had flooded! Reported the flood to reception on our way out! The problem sorted straight away. Had to roll a towel up to span the gap between the wall and glass shower screen from then on! Air conditioner was useless, had to pay to use the room safe, and also no wifi! Unless you paid for that too! The reception staff were nice but hardly spoke a word of English. The barman was arrogant and totally unhelpful. Blanes itself was like a ghost town, hardly a soul to be seen all weekend. If you decide to stay here in the future and you don't think the food is up to scratch, have a walk down the front towards lloret de mar, The Texan steakhouse is a must, the food is amazing, Louise and the staff are extremely friendly, only complaint was they allowed smoking outside the restaurant where people were eating! Other than that, top notch!

I had single room overlooking the pool. Everything was functional and the room didn't feel small. The staff were friendly, professional and happy. The hotel was spotless. The location was excellent only 100 yards to the beach. The bed was very comfortable, sleep sound every night. Will certainly return.

Just spent a week here, and enjoyed everything about this hotel. All staff were very pleasant and very helpful. Food was very nice too. The breakfasts were lovely. Plenty of choice, and the girls who worked in the restaurant were lovely. Always smiling and chatting. The rooms were cleaned daily and the hotel was absolutely spotless clean. Even though I was travelling solo I was given a large spacious triple room, and wifi in the rooms was an added bonus. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Joanna at reception can book trips for you at reasonable prices. She's very helpful. I would definitely like to stay here again. Thank you Stella Maris for making my stay in Blanes a very enjoyable experience.

Spent ten nights at this lovely hotel. Traveled with friends. Spotlessly clean.all staff very friendly. From the manager down to the night man. Single small room.cleaned each day,and fresh towels. Arrived late so missed dinner.Manager told us to go to our rooms and leave suitcases. Came back down to find four chicken dinners waiting for us,and a large tray of fresh salad.Followed by fruit and ice cream.Delicious.Never experienced such hospitality. Entertainment on two nights with live music and dancing. Would definitely recommend this fab hotel and wouldn't hesitate staying there again.

Hi Middle of September me and my fiance went on one week holiday. When we arrive we were suprise that our room its not actualy room is a 2 bad appartment. First time ever we have double bed instead of to single that we usually move togheter. Food: there is no a lot to choose but definniteley everybody will found something for own preference.1 dish of each fish pork chicken veg plus pasta desserts etc. Apartments are big and renovated to a high standard, we have 2 balcony one on poool other on street. Nice big walking shower. Mickrowave, fridge, ceramic hob, coffe express on pods that you can buy in reception 50p and what suprise as we have own washing machine with place to dry your clothes, towels. Air-conditioning as standard. Wi-fi good coverage cost something like 16€ for a week.free wi-fi @bar. Really close to the beach about 50-100m. To restaurant or centre of blanes obout 1km but there is a nice walkway along beach. There is only one minus of that hotel POOL , sun comes at pool side after 12-1pm and water is freezing but there is something that recompense this :) HOT TUB. Pool is very dip 2.6m nice for somone that like jump to water. Cleaning service available every day just hang a "make a room" on handle. Definitely hotel not for kids as there is nothing to entertain them Just one street before hotel there is nice Italian family own restaurant. They have really good pizza "pizzeria napoli de blanes" enjoy your stay

We went for a meal at the hotel ordered the offers which was rubbish and we paid full price. Im sure the pizzas came from the super market you can get frozen in a box. My beefburger was like mush in a bun ! We looked up and on ceiling was a massive spider and web I told the waitress and she just laughed ! My young son ran out of the place and we never returned. Far to expensive for rubbish

Just spent 4nights at this hotel from 26 to 30 June 2016, The hotel was very clean, lovely pool area, lovely bar and lounge areas. We were the only english speaking at the hotel for the first few days, mostly eastern european clientele (and the resort reflected in this as well) Location is ideal just a short walk from the the beach. We were the only ones who used the pool area, it was just like having a private pool and jucuzzi so this was a bonus, I really don't know why people never used it, on a few days there were one or two would come after 4pm. The rooms are basic with really hard beds (woke in the mornings with really aching joints) and a lovely clean bathroom(big walkin shower) we had fresh towels every day which were thick and nice white ones, the bedding was changed after 2nights which again were really clean white crisp sheets, the balcony was large and overlooking the pool area. Really could not fault the hotel itself, but now comes the crunch 'The Food.' we opted for half board for the time that we were there. (If I ever went back I would do B&B only) firstly breakfast, 3 types of cereals(cheap ones at that) warm milk which had a bit of a tang on it, usual ham, cheese, tomatoes, rolls etc., one choice of egg, one day scambled, next fried, then boiled etc., bacon was more fat then meat, sausages were smoked, beans were ok, plenty of pastries, toast, jams, yougurts etc., so in all could feed yourself. Evening meal, what a farce, most of it was inedible, I think this is the only holiday that I have actually lost weight as could not eat the food (in fact i would not give it to a dog!!!) first course was soup, first night we had pasta shells in what could only be described as in dishwater with a fish smell, which we left and the waitress laughed when I said that was the worse soup I have ever tasted. The second night we had a sort of thick soup (not sure what it was) but could actually eat some of it. Third night was bits of pasta again in some sort of what could only be described as dishwater again. Next course was then the salad bar, which was more or less the same as the breakfast one with the hams, cheese, tomatoes, and some sort of concotion all mixed together which was not very appertising to say the least, next came main course, don' think there is anything I can actually say that would be nice, but I know Tuesday night there was some sort of beef stew which tasted ok which I did eat with mashed potatoes and few vegetables but OMG did I suffer in the early hours of the morning where I was violently sick!!! Desserts were the same every night, jelly, ice cream, half an orange, little bites of pink cake, yougurts, so all in all not very good. We did have lunch at the hotel bar/cafe which was a lot nicer and tasted like food, but there again we did have to pay for this. The waitressess in the restuarant were not very friendly or nice except for the older lady who seemed to do all the work while the two young ones stood around chatting, on the first night we were asked if we would like a drink with our meal, I am not a drinker so we opted for water (which we had to pay for) the second night we were not offered a drink, so on the way out I did mention to my husband how that we were not offered a drink maybe they don't like to serve water, the next night she came running up to see if we would like a drink, the restuarant manager strutted about like a little cockeral but could not even be bothered to say evening or hello, but if a child was there he was all over them and making a fuss!!! The bar/cafe staff were lovely especially the young lady with long blonde hair she was really nice, the reception staff were really nice and spoke good English, So all in all this could really be a smashing hotel if only the restuarant upped its act!!

Avery good three star hotel ,very near the sea front in Sabinell .Good food plenty of choice . Rooms very good but the singles are are rather smaller Than I expected THe bedrooms ar all airconditioned. I asked for a room on a high floor and got 604 .with a good sized balcony and an amaziing Pamoramic view ,the mountains at one side and a view of the sea staight ahead..The staff were all very helpful and friendly .The restaurant got very full at certain times but they reserved tables for people on their owwn. and groups. which was very helpful..i can recommend this hotel to anybody

This was our 5th time in Stella Maris and it was another lovely holiday. Stella Maris is not the biggest hotel in Blanes but for me its one of the best for the price we paid, The rooms are always clean, our maid brought fresh towels every day, We had our 3 year old grandaughter with us & the staff were so friendly with her, the restaurant staff & Antonio the manager especially but also Joanne on reception & Xavi the barman. There was always plenty of sunbeds around the pool and our little girl loved the jacuzzi,The guests at the hotel were a good mix of nationalities, mainly older couples. I would have no hesitation in recommending Stella Maris to anybody looking for a relatively cheap holiday in Blanes.
