The hotel rooms and facilities themselves are very good and clean, however, the food provided is often not cooked, chicken, pork and sausage we have all found pink and raw. As a place that many schools visit I would expect a more professional and less dangerous approach to cooking.

We've been ther for a weekend of may, and we enjoyed a lot the place. The location is good, as it's 10 min walk to the city center, but on a really quiet area. The pool area is so nice and peaceful, and the rooms are ok, with a nice balcony to sit and chill, and enjoy the views to the sea. Staff was friendly and always willing to help, so I would recommend the place for sure.

Reception staff are so arrogant and obnoxious towards customer, Hamid would rather rant on the phone with who ever than deal with customers needs, staff on reception need to take lessons on how not to lie, i recently stayed at this place after contacting certain agents then some female receptionist (who sounded oriental and whom i did see on leaving the place) from the aparthotel calling me back that same day confirming my requirements for an apartment for 4 nights, i said i would sort payment out on arrival, when i arrived reception staff denied all of my converstations and her return call (even though i had logged evidence on my mobile) told no accommodation available, this Hamid never once listened to a word i said except he spent 20 minutes on the phone to whoever ignoring all my pleas. after about an hour all of a sudden a more expensive room became available, well after a 21 hour drive i just paid for the room, i really had enough of this guys arrogant and obnoxious attitude, he was the same with others as i learned over the days, it appears that these people want your money but not your smile. Late rooms were even booked because of late departure even this was a denial of ever been booked. The rooms are dirty, beds are uncomfortable, cleaners pick up dirty towels and place them back on your towel rack, you would be lucky to get one hot shower as water runs cold after 2 minutes, you put a do not disturb sign on the door the cleaners even ignore that, the place is noisy, The food in the restaurant is always cold ie fried eggs bacon sausage etc, The swimming pool is of poor quality water quality, access and egress. i do have a plus all rooms have air conditioning, people do return here, I would never return i would not recommend this place to anyone or thing. Internet is available at a cost and for a week is quite expensive compared to what you would pay at home for a month.

We Stayed in Room 122 And had a Great stay especially good for Children. ! We Can recommend especially the reception Manager Hamid who does an excellence Job we Will Be back Next year again. Kind Regards from Zürich Thomas !

Stayed here for five days with my fantastic school from Scotland, Edinburgh whilst doing water sports. Hotel was great, brilliant rooms which were up to standard and perfect for our groups of four. The two pools were also perfect for us sunbathing/swimming. I enjoyed most of the food on offer at the buffet but did feel at times it was very repetitive. But apart from that everything was fab! Thank you for a great stay.

We arrived on a Wednesday, to find a large group of school children or what seemed to be a group of summer campers- lots of groups around the pool, activities throughout the courtyard. Not what I was expecting for a relaxing 4 days on Costa Brava. I compare it to an American motel - three floors per building, no elevators. the apt. is OK size for two people. We had three- one sleeping on the sofa which turned into a futon. With one bathroom it was tight. Not much room to put clothes away in - ok hanging space, but no drawers to speak of. The bathroom had hot water, but only enough for one person - by the time the second person hopped on, the water was cold. The beds were comfortable, no fancy mattress, made daily, but the towels were not changed - which seemed strange to me. Once the school kids left, the pool area was very quiet and relaxing. The restaurant had a decent breakfast- buffet style - cold cuts, fresh breads, cereals, fruit, juices, coffees, eggs, bacon..did not eat other meals there, nor did we cook in the kitchen. We parked our car on the street, not in the hotel parking lot as there was an extra charge for there was an extra charge for wi-fii and other amenities. Location is a bit outside of town, but easy walking distance and it felt safe. We basically used the room for sleeping and spent the day on the beach across the street. Once the school children left, the mornings were very quiet, and it was nice to sit on the balcony with a good book.

I stayed here for two nights. Upon arrival there were quite a few old people and no one else. It was silent and eerie. Unfortunately the weather was wet and if that is the case there is simply nothing to do. I did not try the food but I would have the food included as when you go into town there is not a great range of quality food places. There are a handful of pizzerias and cafe types. The town reminds me of what Benidorm might look like if it had not been ruined by us Brits. Not that I like Benidorm at all, It's dreadful - I stayed there as a joke. Anyway in town there a few clubs and bars so it is great for that. I recommend starting the night at 10 then start the clubs at midnight. It will end by 5 am. Back to the hotel is a good place to rest in silence and its away from the town. This isn't really for tourists as not many speak very good English so I would brush up on your Spanish. I actually like that though as you feel like you are on holiday and it adds to the adventure. There isn't much to do for kids here either unless I was just unfortunate with timing. Apartments were very clean by he way. And the pool look great uniform only it was sunny. Staff seemed bored here and uninspired. Probably because it is so quiet. You should take a trip to Palamos its very interesting and good places to eat. Look for the 1euro tapas bar!

I booked this hotel over the internet for a one night in January. Upon arrival the whole hotel was closed and no staff or guests present. A note on the reception window led us to our room where we found the keys stuck to the door. I felt like Jack Nicholson in the film "The shining". The rooms are small but clean. The bed was nice and all bedding and towels were clean. There was a small TV with only one channel that worked. This hotel has a 1980s Butlins feel. Its was OK and i would probably use this hotel again if there was nothing else but i would not recommend it.

The first review was similar to my experience. A little further than I would have liked out of town and no bars or restaurants nearby but really only took 10 mins walk to the beginning of the main street of Platja d'aro, although to the far end would be about 30 mins and although we had a car parking in Platja d'aro was very difficult. Palamos 10 min drive to the other side was lovely and parking much easier. I thought the apartments were perfectly adequate for two people but would have been a bit small for 4. No problems with plumbing or cleanliness. On site supermarket disappointing but breakfast at the hotel reasonable value for 6 euros Parking around around the hotel was available but the hotel car park seemed to being saved for staff as we were told it was full when it clearly wasn't. Parking may be tricky at the height of the season. The beaches in the area are lovely and in particular the cove right by the hotel. If you want any atmosphere do not go after middle of September. As we left on 15th September the entertainment programme finished and I believe boat trips from main beach also finished All in all we had a lovely beach break at a very reasonable cost and with no unsurmountable problems

The hotel is very old, you haven't any facilities, and it is very unclean and with high rumour day and night. I have to fill a claim but the Hotel Director doesn’t matter. I was there with a baby of ten month and we stay without potable water for five hours!!! The apartment are little and very uncomfortable. Terrible experience!!!
