We arrived to this hotel in the middle of June for week holiday.Everything was OK,including food,reception staff,room cleaning,animation team. Inma from reception was very helpfull. We got room room next to kids pool and it was bit noisy.Asked to change to less noisy.No problems,we got room with sea view and sunny side.Very well done!Hotel has good location for Barcelona or Girona visiting.Train station in front of hotel(not noisy at all).Plenty of travel agencies,bars,restaurants,shops in short walk distance.We use Monolit Travel for our trips.5 stars service,especially for Russian speaking tourists!!! Everything was great just weather was was too hot(around 40) at June. Recommend.

We arrived yesterday and my first impressions of hotel were not great, but i thought i may just being too judgmental and to give the place a chance. But so far my impression has not changed of the place. Please make sure you bring plenty of money with you as you get asked to put a deposit on everything, towels, safe, wrist bands (which works out to be about 50-60 euros plus the tourist taxes you pay on arrival). Although the deposits are given back at the end of your stay, whats the point???? As most of our money that we bought with us to spend for our holiday has been used up on deposits & seems a little pointless having all that money on the last day! I wanted to change our pool towels this morning, and was told that we need to pay a euro for each individual towel change. Most bizarre thing i have ever heard of! We have paid deposits on the towels (which i know is standard in all hotels) but why on earth would we be asked to pay a euro for each towel change? This was not explained to us when we arrived by reception. Dogs are allowed in this hotel and for us that's a big no no! They are allowed in bar areas and lobby area. The dogs play around the sofas and chairs and keep feeling that the place isn't clean. Also the dogs stay in the hotel rooms with their owners, which also makes me think that out room could have previously had dogs staying in there & can doubt the room has had a deep clean, little worrying as we have a toddler with us. As all have stated, you do not get served with great service in the bar areas if you are all inclusive - not a four star trait! However the restaurant staff are very helpful and will bend over backwards to ensure that you have everything you need! Reception staff are friendly enough, could be a little more smiley and pleasanter though. Carla on reception is a great personality! Location is beautiful and lots of little nice shops. So far this is how i feel about the hotel...hope the hotel can live up to their 4 star rating in the next few days, however I highly doubt it.

Just returned from the caprici verd yesterday and must say found the Reception team,Houskeeping team,Animation team,and the Dining team of the highest standard of their professions. I totally agree with the sunbed rule that they do not allow the selfish earlybirds popping down to the pool six oclock in the morning and reserving sunbeds that they do not use for the majority of the day. Because of that the pool attendant will go around and remove towels that are unnattended in the early morning. As a result there was never a time when we were unable to use a sunbed during the day.The resort being small going north to Malgrat has plenty shops and stalls to visit walking at night.there is a coastal train station right in front of the hotel with the ticket office and information bureau on the same side of the road as the hotel. To visit Callela Malgrat Pineda etc. It is only ten minute journeys and costs 4.30 return per person.there is free wi-Fi in the hotel but unfortunately is slow and drops out now and then but better signal strength in the hotel lobby. The food was always tasty with plenty of choices but probably would not suit the small percentage of faddy eaters.The cost of drinks are very reasonable for hotels in spain.Overall very relaxing and enjoyable holiday and would certainly return to this hotel.

We went as a family to this hotel and had a great time. The food was excellent and plenty of it. Entertainment was not excessive but was good fun from the entertainment team. The pool was great and it was good to see that they have staff who would remove towels from the sunbeds if people just tried to reserve them. All in all we had a great break.

Had a great holiday hotel was very good rooms were large 2 double beds and sea view. The only disappointment was if you put a towel on a sun bed unattended a member of staff will remove it bit unfair.The entertainment is good for kids but not too great for adults overall nice hotel good food friendly staff great location can get a train to Barcelona 1hr10min Santa Susanna is a quiet lovely family resort will definately return

ok, well we are back from Caprici Verd year number 2 and it was just as enjoyable as last year. This hotel DO take notice of guests comments like Tea and Coffee making facilities have now been added for persons staying over 3 nights, a nice touch for us tea loving Brits and those wanting a drink before breakfast. For me personally the food was a bit hit and miss last year while again another improvement together with keeping the food at a hotter temperature which isn't always easy. Hats off for all the staff, from Patrick in reception to the lovely and friendly maids (just say ola when passing it doesn't cost much to smile at people and acknowledge them, they aren't our servants, they are people, sometimes I swear some people forgot) Sorry but I saw this on a number of occasions, and they moan about how rude staff are!!!! Back to the hotel review, very clean and great location, station over the road and a cheap and enjoyable ride into Barcelona (word of warning if you do travel to Barcelona make sure you take care of your belongs, it is known for pickpockets and thieves). Pay the extra few pounds and upgrade to the premium rooms, you get slippers, pool tools,free indoor pool hat and water everyday. Wish we where there and see all our great friendly staff in 2018 oh and a quick mention to Alex, Millie and Freddie send a big kiss

We found Caprici Verd to be a really good hotel, with plus points that massively outweigh the small niggles. So, plus points first: 1. Santa Susanna itself seems to be a class above the Costa Brava norm. The hotel is opposite the railway station, making trips to Barcelona a doddle. The beach is coarse sand and pleasant. 2. The hotel is clean, spacious and modern - or at least kept in good decorative order. The reception area around the lifts has some pleasing modern architecture. 3. The rooms are nicely decorated, and clean, with quiet air conditioning that really works. Don't be in too much of a hurry to pay extra for a poolside view - you can still see the sea from the balconies of the outward facing rooms, and they will inevitably be quieter. 4. The food - given that we're talking mass catering - is excellent. Plenty of choice, plenty of fresh produce and tastes as nice as it looks, which points to good-quality ingredients. Special thanks to Ricardo who is usually on duty and does a wonderful job. 5. Last, but by no means least, the staff are excellent. Patrick in particular did a wonderful job. 6. The guest facilities - indoor & outdoor pools, entertainment, gym etc were all up-to-scratch and as you'd expect from a 4-star hotel. OK, now the niggles. The broadband (free) was very s-l-o-w most of the time. There was no facility for a "tab" for drinks, which was a pity as PAYG sort of takes the edge off an otherwise nice meal. I'm sure the hotel would benefit from increased sales. But those are minor points, we'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

We arrived late and some food was left in our room but as it was a very warm night and we did not know how long the plates had been there we did not eat any of it. It would have been better to have been left in the fridge for us. The hotel is very pleasant, clean and well situated just across the road from the beach. The food wasn't anything special but there was plenty of it, a good variation and there was certainly no problem with the temperature of anything. All in all bearing in mind the price of accommodation here we found it good value for money. All of the staff were pleasant and helpful. There seemed to be a problem with the lifts, one of them was hardly ever working and even though we were on the fourth floor for a lot of the time we took the stairs as the lifts took so long to arrive. Santa Susana is a lovely quiet resort although the sand on the beach is not soft, its very rough and pebbly.

We went all inclusive and arrived at the hotel just after midnight, and reception gave us our room, food was left in room which was a nice touch, then in the morning we had to go and get our all inclusive wrist bands, to which we had to pay a 10 euro deposit for each one, (which I have never seen before), after this we found out where the resturant was and had breakfast. Food was good had plenty of choice, most meals were only luke warm though, hotel was very clean. Now for the bad bits. The all inclusive package that we paid for, was in my opinion a waste of time, it was made to feel that we were separated from paying guests, and the paying guests got preference over everybody else, if you wanted a drink at the all inclusive bar, you were made to feel that you were disturbing the bar staff from their duties at the cash bar, as that is where they stayed all of the time. In my opinion this hotel should do away with all inclusive or just have all inclusive only as the two do not mix. On our first full day it was raining, so we decided to have a swim in the indoor pool, we were the only ones in there, after being in there for 30 - 40 minutes, we were asked to leave in no uncertain terms as we were not wearing swimming hats,( there was 1 sign on the door to the pool which stated that hats needed to be worn, but this was not visable as when we arrived at the pool the door was wide open and sign could not be seen, after asking us to leave the pool, the member of staff stood at the door, untill my wife and myself got changed and left the area, then he left as well, I asked why there are not more clearer signs and his response was, hats 2 euros at reception, which he just kept on repeating. The entertainment team were not interested at all in english people they did not come anywhere near any of the english people staying there, the entertainment list at the hotel for the evenings did not happen, on the Friday evening it said mini disco for the children, but in fact, it turned out to be a Polish band, and the two hotels next door guests were invited to attend, so they had 6 bar staff on the cash bar, and none on the all inclusive bar, again made to feel we were outcasts for asking for a drink. All in all, this hotel is for non english people, and is full of spanish, French, and german pensioners, I would not recommend this hotel to young families. The hotel itself is lovely but it has something missing,(Character I think).

Well let's start with the pros of our holiday Lovely weather Good size pool The staff were friendly however a few especially the woman behind the bar was miserable and made others feel we were putting her out by having the cheek to ask for a drink Double beds in the room which were comfy The food even though lukewarm was edible with plenty of variety a although nothing really for children apart from pizza and chips Snacks were good, but limited Now the cons As all inclusive guests your treated poorly no poolside or table service that the 'paying ' customers get, you are served at a separate bar and most drinks provided are vile we ended up paying for our drinks at the other bar as they served the decent stuff, the all inclusive cocktails were watered down actually probably no alcohol in it at all and tasteless juice. English guests are completely ignored not once did the entertainment team speak to us, they catered purely for the older guests, we travelled with our 2byear old and there was hardly any children there nor did the entertainment staff even look at her there was no mini disco at night and it was just older people dancing to bands that are clearly there for them. I have never experienced such a miserable holiday my daughter was bored and I was ready to go home after day 1, I can honestly say if your a young English family avoid this place!!!!
