This was not a friends holiday, we were there for a youth football tournament April 2017. There were lots of teams staying in the hotel. The staff were excellent friendly and helpful, considering there were lots of excited boys running around, quite noisy and they couldn't have been nicer. The food on offer was plentiful, a variety, not the same mains everynight, but burgers and hotdogs and chips every night for the kids I assume, pizza some nights...right on thr beach too...

First ill start by saying the staff were very friendly and helpful all the time great service, the hotel swimming pool relaxing area is great for the sun and right on the beach which was awesome also the drinks where fresh and chilled and the snacks were good and had plenty of choice, the actual meals at breakfast lunch and dinner were ok but not great some choices tasted a bit too processed however there were some things that were quite tasty because of that we just stuck to eating the basics ie chips, pizza, turkey and salad. Now there were a couple of issues with this place number one being that on more than one occasion there was a foul smell coming from somewhere we could smell from just outside the lift and the whole ground floor of the building luckily it wasn't anytime we were eating because it smelt of sewage, another issue was on two occasions our room was also home to a troop of ants on my side table one of these times i spotted them at about 4 in the morning so had to get the porter to come up and sort them out after that as you would imagine we didn't sleep well that night, air con was not good at all very hot and stuffy at night.

Found this to be a good quality 3* hotel. You do not get dropped off outside the hotel but across a main road. You have to go down and through an underpass. Our coach driver was unhelpful and sent us to an entrance with steps very unhelpful when there are older people with large suitcases. Lucklly someone knew there was a ramp entrance a little further up the road. The rooms were kept clean and were of average size. The food was good and of 3* quality though the restaurant is not very big. Entertainment was not very good apart from a couple of nights. It is in a quiet location on the beach although it is a stoney beach.

Stayed here in 2015 ,lovely rooms plenty of space big walk in shower, stayed all inclusive could not fault the food meat and fish cooked fresh while you wait , snacks cooked at outside bar if you don't want to use restaurant at dinner time pleasant staff , right on the beach away from main road but close to center, would return and would recommend.

We went here on our first holiday abroad together. When we got there the entrance was clean and the reception was friendly. We arrived early but they were happy for us to check in early. The room was big and had everything that we needed. The only thing was the €30 deposit for a TV remote. The food was nice and had a good mixture with the fish being especially good. The pool is quite small but being on the beach front if you really want a swim then it's about 15 steps to the sea. The entertainment and staff are brilliant Over all good hotel and good staff

Arrived late at night. The room that was allocated to us was not ready, so reception placed us in another room a few doors down which was lovely. Rooms are very clean, modern and big. Ours had a lovely balcony with a view of the sea. Bathroom very clean, large walk in shower - only issue is that temperature either goes from fiery pits of hell to the depths of Antarctica. We got used to it after the first few days. Staff are all so friendly - especially Javier and Virginia who both made us feel very welcome. Cannot wait to come back next year - thank you for a wonderful time.

We just returned from this hotel yesterday. We had a great 5 day break especially as the weather was so amazing. The hotel is right on the beach which is a real advantage. The area is lovely plenty of shops and bars. We walked to the train station which took about 10 minutes and caught the train to Barcelona which took about 1 hour-1:15. The hotel: The hotel is really clean and the rooms are lovely, really modern and spacious. We had a sea view and double balcony which was great. The rooms have everything you can possibly need from: air con, phone, fridge, tv and tea making facilities. The hotel is quite small and there are not many communal places etc. The swimming pool is small but fine for a little dip. The pool bar is great as it does drinks and snacks such as chips, burgers and crisps. However, we choose to eat in the restaurant for our meals. As it was October there were plenty of seats however, I can image in the summer it can get a bit crowded and people might struggle to find parasols etc. The entertainment was ok there were odd acts and singers during the week. If I went in the summer I would want more activities in the day but that’s just a personal choice. Food: The food was great and there was plenty of choice. It was a little repetitive but for a holiday it was fine. I found the breakfast to always be the same and little choice with cereal but, the rest of the meals had variety. The only thing I would change is the deserts as I’m a sweet tooth and the choice was small. Overall, I would definitely return for a break as the hotel is great and the area is perfect for shopping and walking. I would certainly stay near to a train station again! Hopefully we will return in the future!

Had to book last minute with jet2.com as monarch went bust, it was amazing, very nice, friendly hotel, good food, brilliant location right on the beach, the only criticism was the fact that the hotel closed down at 12 midnight and all the lights were turned off, im a bit old to be sent to bed but overall a lovely holiday

We stayed at this lovely hotel for 10 nights in October. The hotel was small and friendly all the staff were helpful and good. Our room was lovely and very clean and we really enjoyed our stay. We have never been to Malgrat De Mar before and the hotel was situated right on the front and very close to all the shops. We enjoyed the food which was always fresh and a nice choice. With your all inclusive band you are allowed to go to two other hotels to eat and drink as well which we also enjoyed doing.

Stayed here for a long weekend, had the best time.. bar staff are lovely, food was good (except breakfast go out for that).. amazing location.. slight smell of cat urine in the hallway but always cleaned this is due to stray cats on the beach. Would definitely come back here again.. little town and shops were amazing.. short walk to market and the old town and property is literally on the beach.. you couldn't get better.
