We were given two separate single bed when the lady knew that we were husband and wife because i told her it was our wedding anniversary, as i couldn't be bothered to do any complains we just put the bed together as at least we had a sea view. none of the staff in the resturant did speak english and we had half board but you don't get the drinks included you have to pay for them starting from € 1.80 for a small bottle of still water. The bathroom shower wasen't cleaned good, every time i was turning the bed did do so much noise, you can hear the noise of the bed of next door bedroom as well and most of the night we couldn't sleep because of noise, you can hear when the other people of the floor above us went to the toilet. The food is not that great. I will not be going back to this hotel.
beautiful beachfront hotel. drinks reasonably priced plenty of food to choose from however not really too my taste. staff were great entertainment was good..barcelona,very accesible via train for about 19 euros for 2 people, wold reccomend boat trip to tossa de mar. would stay again definitely.
I am on the last night of a one week holiday. The hotel is really clean and most of the staff are really friendly. Most of the guests are not English but that is OK with me. The food is not my taste but lots of variety with at least 2 fish dishes and 3 meat they is also a chef cooking at lunch and dinner. I have a solo room that has a double bed and a single but not sure its big enough for that only a small wardrobe and a few drawers the bathroom is a wet room and is great for people with mobility problems. The hotel is right on the beach but at the quiet end of Santa Susanna so expect to walk quite a bit as the nearest supermarket is 15 minutes away the only bad thing is you have to go under the train tracks to go to the shops or anything.
My friend and I came for a week's holiday Sept 2017. Very pleased to find 2 double beds in our room and a beautiful view from the balcony on the 3rd floor. The food was very good throughout our stay, and the dining room staff were excellent. Our transfers however left much to be desired! Company was called FROMTO. We had to put our own cases in the hold of the coach and expected to get them out from under loads of others...We are both nearly 70! Had to ask driver for help, and did so grudgingly! Then had to lug them through an underpass to the hotel, as we were on the main road and not outside the hotel. So..beware of your drop off. Not picked up on return journey either...we had to get a taxi to avoid the underpass and wait at a nearby hotel on the back road. Stood with cases like 2homeless people and no way to contact reception if the coach didnt come. It did, eventually!!
Good: close to seacost, hotel internal swimming pool close to sea. Bad: 1st two days were nightmare. Hotel staff wanted to bamboozle us for 2 days. Premium room was paid and they intended to give us a mouse hole. Our IBUSZ tourguide Sára was extremely ignorant and impolitely reticent. IBUSZ should give her the sack. If she stays we will avoid IBUSZ. The other visitors were also utterly angry abut what they received as "rooms" for their money. Hotel rooms are allegedly 4 stars. In fact they are 3 stars. Rooms are ex-socialist country feeling. Bathroom is average. Beds are uncomfy. Temp and humidity was high and air cond. system was not cleaned thus I got legionella after i got home and I have been still in bed for 2 weeks. The next time when we go to Barcelona, Santa Suzanna we will choose another hotel.
I was there one week in the summer and had a 1-person room with queensize bed in the upper floor. It was very clean and elegant with a wonderful view overlooking the seaside. Quiet atmosphere as the hotel is located just by the seaside, still with a close connection to the city centre and all the facilities there. A nice restaurant with an open bufet with great amount of food every day and lots of things to choose from. Lots of fruit and vegetables too. I strongly recommend!
Being there, I experienced one of the most beautiful adventaures of my life. J. if you are reading this, I want you to know that I will never forget you. You know, some moments in our lives make us believe, that we actually can be happy. And thats what happened to me when I was back from Caprici. That paradise is still with me :)
We had been in this hotel for a week. The hotel, the beach is excellent! It has lots of programm for children and for adult also. The beach is absolutelly perfect in front of rhbe hotel. The water in the pool is great and the tempicture is good too. The receptionist are polite and helpful! There is a best choose if you would like to good. Only two weak points are: Same food all days, the first (deepest) bed-sheet is not good, because it has noise when you moving, sleep on it, and it is loud.
Me and my husband spent days in Santa Susana at Hotel Caprici (4-14June). The room was very nice and we were lucky and received a room with a beautiful view over the beach. Cleaning of rooms was great, with new towels every day. Around 21:00 they have different shows. We managed to see an amazing flamenco show. The food was terrible. We were halfboard so had breakfast and dinner. I would not recommend accomodation+food. There was this awful constant smell and everything that was cooked was horibble. I blame the low quality of ingredients used. I was lucky they had lots of fruits and bread. Beside this, i was not able to eat much there and i am not a very picky person when it comes to food. Location is great, 5 min to the train station.
We have stayed there for 3 nights. The hotel is well situated: it is in the silent part of the town, it is on the beach (the beach is just across the small road, which as far as I have seen, was never used) and it is very close to the train station (where you can get to near towns for couple euros or to Barcelona for 4,90 Eur every half an hour). The room was ok with a balcony which had a view to the sea and railway. Though we got one with 2 beds and even though we have moved them together it was inconvenient. All the necessary equipments were inside (safety-box, toiletries - some of them in separate packages, some of them filled in the boxes on the wall). On the other way, the housekeeper every time she cleaned, used to take one towel out (by the end of our stay we had only one set of the towels). Other than that, the room was fine. The trains started to pass the hotel early in the morning, so who is not used to the noise, would feel bad since they were really heard. The food was awesome!!! The restaurant itself was simple, wasn’t full of people (I presume that May is just a beginning of a holiday season). The variety of the food was above my expectations. We had FB (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and we were always happy with the choices, especially with the seafood. Every time there was some kinds of meat, fish and other seafood. The beverages and wine were cheap (a bottle of house wine cost approx. 7 Eur). The sandy beach was close, the sea had some rocks nearby, though there were quite a lot of trash in the water. The sandy shore was quite wide (compared to what other hotels had). Pool had many sunbeds and it was great! The pool bar makes great coffee and sangria.
