This is the second time staying at this location in cosenza. We used the hotel as a base while we traveled to Mangone to see where our grandparents live and were born. This hotel is modern, clean and the breakfasts were very plentifully... A great way to start the day. They had freed parking in an underground secure lot which was also a bonus.
Drove around in Italy and this town and hotel seemed like a good place to take a brake. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was very good. Free parking was also a plus. Would stay here another time too.
We stayed for one night. We had a junior suite which was actually 2 connected double spacious rooms. The rooms were very clean with all the expected amenities. The 2 bathrooms were very handy when kids are present. The breakfast was excellent both in quality and quantity. The price was decent and the quality/price ratio very good. I would recommend the hotel to anyone passing Cosenza.
I got a great deal only £33 a night through KLM airline, so I wasn't expecting much - But arriving hot and sweaty I was delighted to find such a good room. I stayed on the top floor (7th) which provided great views of the hills to the west. Breakfast buffet was better than average, with a selection of hot food as well as all the usual cakes and buns. I was also able to park right outside every time I returned to the hotel, no charges. This is a very good hotel, and useful for doing what I did, which was to explore the three National Parks, Pollino, Sila and Aspromonte. Cosenza itself is a large, modern Italian city, and as with many Italian cities, when you get off the main roads you find a lot of deprived, dirty, litter-strewn places. Cosenza Old Town is definitely worth a visit. It is shabby, messy, dirty, run-down ... but actually lived in by real people, so lots of sounds, arguments, kids playing etc, and wonderful smells of people cooking food - a real place in other words, not contrived tourist nonsense.
Lovely rooms, spacious and clean. Nice view from the windows in the town of Cosenza. Breakfast was well made with lots of choices. Fruits, beverages and brioche were aplenty. We dined at the restaurant with mixed emotions as the food was nothing to write home about. Decent but slightly on the expensive side.
On our way to calabria (south) we stopped 2 nights: Great Wifi, AMAZING breakfast with italian coffee, home-made cake, fresh orange juice! The location is great for a break with super cheap restaurant around and so typical... We loved it. The + : A very ver good Gym
The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely and welcoming and the breakfast was fabulous. The room was comfy and spacious. Would definitely recommend this hotel and it is good value also!!
Sterile rooms that are poorly lit. Location is not on road listed on website. No gluten free items or eggs even on breakfast table so if your are diabetic or just eat healthy skip the breakfast. Would not recommend if can stay farther north or south.
Excellent, reasonably priced, modern and clean, with free garage space, close to Corso Mazzini with its open air sculptures in a pedestrian area. We only stayed for one night before driving down to Sicily.
Room was lovely. Very clean. Huge bed. Nice bathroom. Good Wi Fi. Staff helpful. We went to the public promenade to see the sculptures. We ate in the hotel and enjoyed the breakfast. Parking was easy and covered.
