Our family had a wonderful stay over the Thanksgiving holiday. The property was extremely cozy and inviting. All the furnishings were comfortable and the beds were great!! Excellent proximity to the beach and shopping! We all agreed that we would return!! Amazing stay!!

Great house and great location! This was really convenient to so much stuff in Port A, including the beach. Pool was great, with lots of pool floats available. The kitchen was stocked with lots of dishes, although we did have to wash a few before use. Would definitely stay again and loved that it was pet friendly!!

Short but Sweet

I only gave it 4 stars for cleanliness because we had to clean up a little after a previous renter or whoever stayed there last. Shell house is an awesome place to stay for family and friends. Relax by the pool. Just be careful because it is slippery. Downstairs garage has plenty of games. A little disappointed that the photo showed a dart board but there was one. Ping pong table made up for it. No AC but there is a fan, so it’s best to play there in the evening when it’s cooler. They had plenty of games to keep us occupied. Neighborhood was quiet but neighbors next door were a little loud all night. I know they were enjoying themselves. We did have throw away someone else’s trash that was left downstairs by the pool. One toilet paper for each restroom but they were almost empty so we had to buy some immediately. I suggest to bring your pans because the ones there were horrible. Garbage disposal didn’t work. It look like there was old moldy fruit peels inside. We didnt want to mess with it. All in all we did enjoy our stay. Lots of stairs so make sure your fit for it. I don’t recommend elderly or handicap people stay. We will definitely be back and we don’t mind renting again. For us, it was just right. We enjoyed it and all the amenities they offered even the bath wash and shampoo and conditioner.

Great Place to Stay

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at The Shell House. The local property manager had great communication with us prior to and during our stay. There was not a terrible laundry list of cleaning to do before checking out either. We couldn't use the master closet and that was not mentioned in the description so we kept our stuff in a different bedroom and the fridge took a while to cool which was slightly annoying but oh well. The house was clean, pool was lovely and very private with beautiful landscaping.
