Perfect location for your family!

This was by far the best experience that we have had in Rockport! The view is amazing, easy access to the beach, close to all the great restaurants. We will definitely come back again. All the amenities are in the home that you will need. Communication was on point with the property owner, he was quick to reply ! Thank you again for allowing us this great experience

2024 Fourth of July vacation

This was our third trip to Rockport and second during Fourth of July. We chose this property to be able to watch the fireworks show from the front porch and it was great. Super convenient to everything Rockport has to offer.

The property is in a great location. Beautiful views with a fully stocked kitchen. The house was clean and neat. But sadly we were not able to finish our trip out there due to an unexpected problem with the air conditioner. It quit cooling the first day there and we had to sleep in an 82 degree house our first night. I contacted the owner but didn't receive a response. I contacted again numerous times the next morning. I finally received a call back around 9am. He contacted someone to fix the air-conditioning but we had to stay out of the house all morning due to the heat. We returned at noon and it still was not fixed. The temperature was up to 87 by then. We found other arrangements because we wanted a place to cool off and relax which we didnt have. By the time we had packed up and prepared to leave, finally the AC repairman should up, which was around 1. I know it wasnt the owners fault that the air went out, but it would have been nice to receive some compensation for the inconvenience and relocation. I felt we should not have had to stay out or sit in heat the entire time. Like I said, we really liked the house.😔

Great stay and great location

Very nice house. Exceptional location. It was nice looking out the windows to the water. Located in the middle of everything, beach and food, etc. It was a very peaceful stay. The host was very quick to communicate with us and answered all our questions quickly. The only thing was the listing listed a spa/hot tub but there was not one.. not a big deal though because it’s still a nice little house. Thank you Ernest!

Simply perfect!

What a wonderful “cottage on the bay”! The house is very homey and is decorated just perfect for the coastal area! The kitchen is totally supplied with any utensils, pots and pans, etc. that you would need. Location is perfect for shops, eateries and the Rockport Beach! Our host, Ernest, was very punctual in getting back to us on questions we had about things. We will contact this place if we come back down next winter, and hopefully our dates will be available!

Fun sister weekend

this place was so clean and decorated so well. Bright and airy, the view was amazing!!!! We did see dolphins in the bay, so very relaxing. I will come back again. The owner was so very polite and helpfull too.

Dads and Sons Fishing Trip

We rented the property for a quick spring break fishing trip. Two dads with sons ranging from 15 to 18. Our fishing got cancelled due to bad weather but the property made up for it. We stayed at the house and had a great weekend of cards, games, watching baseball on TV and enjoying movies along with cooking meals. The house is well appointed and especially the kitchen. The location is great and convenient to HEB. We’d recommend to anyone.
