Beach Parking Permits
Cost: $12.00
Beach parking stickers can be purchased at City Hall, the Chamber of Commerce, local grocery and convenience stores, as well as various vendors and businesses in town and on the beach.

City of Port Aransas - Beach Parking Permit Information:

To park along the beaches in the City of Port Aransas, a $12.00 permit is required. This applies to the area from Marker (0) to Marker (62).

Free parking areas are available between the Jetties and Horace Caldwell Pier, as well as between Markers 52-58.

Other Things to Note:
Please pay close attention to following the HOUSE RULES: Non-compliance could result in sizable fines.
- All guests staying at a Portoro home are required to sign a rental agreement and complete identity registration.
- Age restrictions apply. Please inquire for more information.
- All guests must be included on the guest list and not exceed the maximum number stated on the listing.
- To ensure your safety, proper access to the home, and guest features, ALL guests are required to read the house manual upon arrival and notify Portoro with any questions.
- Known damages incurred during your stay must be reported to the property manager immediately.
- Before check-in, we will send you detailed directions to ensure a seamless arrival.
- Pets are allowed at this home with manager's approval at a rate of $150 per stay (2 pet max). If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without Portoro’s approval, there will be a cleaning charge of $500. Owner must pick up after dogs - no exceptions.
- We cannot guarantee early check-ins or late checkouts. When it is possible to check in early or check out late, there will be a fee for anything outside of a one-hour window within our standard times. If your need for an early check-in or late check-out is great, your best option is to book an additional night.
- The home has cameras for external monitoring only.
- HOTEL TAX COLLECTION: Both the City of Port Aransas and the State of Texas require all hotel and vacation rental hosts to collect hotel tax. We collect these two taxes within the booking transaction. The state requires 6% and the city requires 7%.
- LONG-TERM STAYS: (Snowbird, long-term rental, winter Texas, winter Texan). Contact Starkey by Portoro to discuss if a long-term stay discount applies to this listing. Stays over 29 days are waived from paying the State and Local Hotel Tax. However, there are additional fees we need to collect for damage coverage and housekeeping. In compliance with our policies for long-term stays, we need to collect an additional cleaning fee for guests staying longer than 3 weeks. Your Guest Ambassador will coordinate the cleaning schedule for a minimum of once every 2 weeks. You can request cleanings more frequently if desired. Additional cleaning charges will be sent using a payment request or resolution request, immediately following the cleaning. Your guest ambassador will reply shortly and be available to assist you where needed.

Great getaway

We were looking for a place to gather the family and enjoy a weekend at the beach. This place was perfect. We have a granddaughter who has special needs and is wheelchair bound. This house worked perfectly for her. The walkover to the beach was wheelchair accessible so she got to enjoy the beach as much as we did. Thank you and we look forward to visiting again

We went from 12/23 - 12/26, I cannot say enough about how great the property was. Clean, perfect location, great views. It was perfect for families or couples, 2 living spaces 2 dining spaces, lots of room on the patios for eating outside, very short walk to the beach, we opted out of a golf cart due to some time constraints and the person that we needed the elevator & golf cart for unfortunately wasnt able to make it at the last minute. Kitchen was great for many cooks, fully stocked. I will stay here every chance I get!!!!

Port A Beach Weekend

Location is really good; less than 3 minute walk to the beach on a new boardwalk though it backs on a resort that can be noisy. The beach is beautiful and not too crowded. About 8 miles from Port A with many good restaurants, shopping, and a very nice park and pier (we saw dolphins there!). House inside was beautiful with only a couple of cleanliness issues, however, there are a number of maintainance issues outside; all issues were communicated to management. The elevator is a really nice feature for the three story house. The views from the two large balconies are wonderful. All in my party indicated they would be happy to come back to this property. Note that the house is on the market.

The house is really nice and lives up to the pictures. I will start by saying that management was very responsive. When my family arrived there were some major cleaning issues, such as hairs in the beds and bathtubs and built up residue on the outside of an air filter. I sent detailed pictures and management sent a cleaning crew out the next morning to do some spot cleaning but my family had to address some of the issues on our own. The house needs a major deep cleaning (accumulated dust, small dead bugs in corners). Management can pay for a deep cleaning as spot cleaning between guests can only cover so much. I also relayed this to maintenance when a guy was sent out to fix a toilet tissue holder that was not secured at all and fell off on the first use. We also suggested that management get a proper pest control treatment as a kitchen counter had an ant problem, and I found a roach on its back on the ground floor. Again all things that can be addressed easily. One thing that was phenomenal was a property owner came over around 8 or 9 one night because by our fault it got stopped on the ground floor. She came over with a key very promptly and helped us. My mother-in-law just had surgery and the elevator came in handy, so I cannot say enough how much we appreciated this! All in all it was an amazing stay! The views from the patio were amazing! I am sure management will address any issues, and it was a great family vacation!

Nice time with family!

The elevator and the easy access to the beach was great. We accidentally got locked out of a room and maintenance arrived to assist in less than 10 minutes. The view from the balcony was nice also. Our only suggestion would be to have TV's in all bedrooms. We would definitely rent this property again.

Just a couple issues.... but overall nice place

The description of the property lists an outdoor gas grill, however there isn't one. Asked about it twice with no response, one of the reasons we wanted to rent a house is to cook our own food. Also at check in met the cleaning crew that was cleaning a broken chandelier from the previous group. I understand this is out of the property management's control. The trash bin was completely full from the previous group and wasn't able to get it emptied before we left.
