Great condo with private entrance

We had a great time here! The location is great, with beach views, easy access, and nice pools. The room itself is beautifully done and well appointed. This unit has a private entrance on the far side of the building and we could comfortably store our beach cart on the landing. There is a large, gorgeous shower in the master bedroom. We only had 2 issues, one minor, one less minor. The first was that the shower did not get adequately cleaned from the previous guests. The second was that getting hot water was so difficult/time consuming and it never got more than warm. But those issues did not ruin anything, just inconveniences. Would stay here again.

Great View

My husband, daughter, and I enjoyed this lovely condo. The view from the living room windows and balcony was terrific. It's always a treat to be able to see and hear the ocean from a vacation dwelling. The property allowed for more privacy due to it's location as an end unit. The unit was clean and the furniture comfortable. The Mayan Princess grounds were also a delight with a beautiful pool and hot tub. We had a wonderful stay!

Great stay

We really enjoyed our time at the condo. The owner was on point with his level of communication. The condo and property is beautifully maintained and the views are priceless. We pretty much had the pools to ourselves and other owners/guests were respectful of Covid-19 distancing although nobody wore a mask during our stay so if that is a problem for you this may not be the complex for you. We would stay here again. It is quiet and peaceful and a nice little drive to Port A.

Awesome Condo

We had a wonderful time at this Condo! Great location, very clean, all you need in the way of cooking utensils, quiet with a view of the gulf and easy access to the beach by way of an exclusive walkway from the Mayan Princess.

Fantastic property and location

The Texas coast didn't disappoint this week, we had the beach to ourselves and the water was so clear. This is a great location and a terrific property, the condo is easy to get to and has a private entrance. Highly recommend!

Short weekend trip

I have stayed at the Mayan Princess before and we love it! You can't beat the location. It's perfect for families with kids because you are right on the beach. Our condo was the perfect size for my family of 5. The owner was so great and helpful when I told him there were ants in the living area. He called the property manager and had an exterminator in there within the hour to take care of the ants. Overall, a great getaway for the weekend.

Great time!

With Hurricane Marcos coming, Andy worked very closely with us and we happily discovered that we didn't have to cancel after all! We loved the accommodations, great place to shelter in place away from home with everything needed at your disposal. Best part was being able to walk to the beach, made morning walks and seeing the sun rise a real treat!

Awesome Location - Great Condo!

We so enjoyed our holiday weekend staying at this condo. It had everything you could need for cooking and lounging. They even provided a cart with a tent, boogie boards and chairs to take to the beach. We will be staying here again. Loved it!

Great for families

We enjoyed this condo and overall property. We especially appreciated the complimentary coffee, soap and toilet paper...which is atypical for condo rentals! We also appreciated the pop-up cabana and boogie boards for the beach. That cabana was awesome and easy to use! The owner was very responsive when we had a question. Recommend!

Family time at the coast

We had a wonderful time with our family. The condo was clean comfortable and delightfully decorated. The owners have supplied everything necessary to accommodate cooking needs. Important when traveling with littles. We can’t wait to book again.

Just Right for Current State of Things

With a private entrance/staircase we felt very safe ( not having to be on elevator). Beautifully decorated, I’m guessing Pottery Barn? Beautiful wood ceiling. Corner balcony on the 2nd level of the property gives perfect beach view and pool view. We were very comfortable and content!

Exactly as described!

Thank you so much Andy for your hospitality! My sons and I had such a great time staying at your property. Everything was exactly as described and that was such a relief. We loved having the use of your wagon; it was so much easier to get our belongings to the beach. The beach and the pools were never crowded and we felt very comfortable with all precautions taken regarding Covid. Thank you again!

Excellent Place, Excellent Host

218 Mayan Princess is a beautiful beachfront property with clear views of the Gulf. We enjoyed sitting on the beautiful deck in the evening, looking at the stars. Inside, we found everything we needed to cook, relax and sleep. Beds were extremely comfortable and the place was very clean. However, our trip was cut short due to Hurricane Hanna. But Andy kept in close contact with us the entire time, and even refunded the remainder of our stay since we had to leave early to avoid the storm. Everything about our trip was perfect (except having to leave early) and we will definitely book this again. Highly recommend! Thanks again for a great place to have our mother / daughter trip!

It was great! The only downfall was not having an elevator to take a cart full of stuff to the room. 500 trips up and down the stairs wasn’t fun but overall, everything else was great.

Mayan Princess 218

We stayed at the Mayan Princess in the same room last year. We enjoyed the clean & inviting atmosphere & all its conveniences. The owners are especially nice & accommodating. Guys caught their limits of trout & red snappers, & I enjoyed the balcony & its gulf view. Will continue to book this property.

Awesome trip

I really enjoyed my trip, and staying at this property. I was very impressed with everything starting with pre-arrival communication, Andy was very responsive, timely and provided good tips about the location, and general area. The property itself is pretty much on the beach, with a minute or so walk across the boardwalk, and I liked that Andy's unit has its own private entry/exit stairs, and the ocean views and sounds from the unit's balcony are perfect. The unit was cozy, well decorated and has a great layout, in addition, the kitchen was well stocked with almost everything you could need. The master walk-in shower is huge. Overall it was a good first visit to this area, and the comfort of the living conditions made it so. I look forward to visiting again!

Amazing beach trip

We had a great time at the condo. Andy was quick to respond and resolve an issue with the door lock when we checked in. After that, there were no issues whatsoever. We loved that the property had a small landing/patio by the front door so we could leave our beach gear outside. Also, the washer and dryer were a big plus. The patio/deck overlooking the ocean was fabulous. What a great view! The taller chairs were perfect for seeing the ocean and enjoying evening cocktails or morning coffee. Beach access was easy and the pools were a favorite of our kids. The condo itself was nicely decorated with beach decor and was well stocked with everything we needed. We stayed for a week and wished we could have stayed longer. This place is a great find! We would love to make a return visit.
