They’ve done some good upkeep on the place. A few minor spots here and there inside that need touch up paint. Had 2 burned out lightbulbs in the same room… gotta keep an eye on that. All in all good place to stay. Would recommend some pleasant scent in foyer, bar and waiting area by elevator. Would add a touch of class. Candles would be nice but obvious danger as well. Maybe scented oil or something. Just a recommendation.
It was a quiet relaxing stay with beautiful scenery and delicious food. The sunrise over the water was unforgettable and the staff was very friendly. The only issue was the tub would not drain but it was minor and staff got right on it.
It was almost perfect. The only draw back was breakfast was cold but if I would have taken it back to my room and microwaved it, It would have been perfect. But I didn't feel like going back to the room. So all in all cold eggs was not a deal breaker for next time.
We had a suite overlooking the water and it was great! The breakfast was included, buffet style, and the quality and selection was great. Had some issues with the maid refreshing towels and toiletries however. Front desk helped us out there.
The staff was rude about us booking through a 3rd party, treated us like we were less of a guest because of it. We did not have access to all the amenities unless we were willing to pay extra! If they do not want guest from 3rd party bookings they should not advise on them!! They need to recognize that if they didn’t use the 3rd party booking systems, we would not have found their hotel and they would not have had our business! We did pay for 3 separate rooms, and that is 3 rooms they would not have filled without 3rd party bookings! Also walls were so paper thin I could hear people talking and SNORING, all night! Pillows were like rocks! The deep bath tub, hot tub, library, and breakfast were all great.
We enjoyed the rocking chairs on the balcony, the water view, and the hotel was very pretty. We didn't like that the bathroom vent didn't work, it was missing a lightbulb, and restaurant service was not staffed.
We loved the property. The pictures do it justice and we made our reservation based on that. The furniture is a little dated. The complimentary breakfast during the week is nothing to rave about. It is quite a distance from Corpus Christi and the things to do there but we knew that and don’t regret staying that far out. We would recommend the Inn.
Beautiful property right on the water with gorgeous views. The staff readily accommodated a request to switch rooms away from a heavy foot traffic area to a quieter room. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Great place to stay!
Loved the room balcony pier. Check in clerk rude. Asked3 times to check in before 4:00. Clerk said it was on website! The day before another guest got on list early at 3:00. Didn’t like breakfast.
Cute hotel right on the bay. Seems historic and good location. Close to all of the places we wanted to go.
We loved the cleanliness and cozy feeling of the room. It was a great get away, with its own pier and pool. We definitely loved the relaxing in the jacuzzi on cold night with a good cocktail. Great stay, friendly staff. Will be back again
Love this property! Really great views! Nice and friendly staff. I would definitely stay again
The staff was very friendly, room was clean and comfortable. We had some very noisy neighbors in the room across the hall which was annoying. Also we couldn't enjoy our balcony overlooking the water because the HVAC units were right outside our room and very loud. Just make sure your room doesn't have those outside. The view was amazing, saw pelicans and dolphins every morning!
Exterior of the Hotel is beautiful, interior of the hotel is dark and dated. The restaurant furniture is old, dirty and uncomfortable. Room was a good size but all of the furniture was old, worn out and uncomfortable. Our poolside view from the patio balcony was blocked by two huge palm trees. Bathroom towels were old and scratchy, broken soap dish. Our first morning we went to breakfast (mediocre buffet) and noticed syrup had been spilled on the elevator floor and our shoes were sticking to the floor. We notified the front desk (twice), a maid (once) and the janitor (once). The floor was still dirty when we checked out. Very disappointing.
