The lay out works great for a small family.My only complaint was the queen size bed. The mattress is very hard. I know some people prefer that but for me and my husband, sleep was difficult. Other than that- big thumbs up for this spot!

Overall we enjoyed our stay and loved Dylan’s Pizza. We did have a problem with the television and the door lock. There were instructions for Spectrum, but it wasn’t Spectrum. The door lock probably needed a new battery.

However, we reported a water leak from Fridge, water heater kept beeping and it was never resolved. I had to walk through water in the kitchen all weekend. Bring your own pillows for master bedroom. Bring your own frying pan cause this unit only has one frying pan! Always food stuck to pan. Other than these hiccups, this unit was beautiful and amazing.

We rented a one bedroom both times. We assumed this time the quality of the rental would be equal to the first. It was not so disappointing. We could not get the main TV to work. It took two maintenance men before it was taken care of. Both responded promptly. There was a substantial whistling sound coming out of the locked storage room in the condo. We called twice to have it corrected but no one showed. It was going full blast when we checked out.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is big and accommodating. Some of the services could be improved. The small amount of dish washing liquid and dish washer soap along with too few flimsy trash bags is silly. A five bedroom house with 11 people in it, for as much as we paid, should have adequate soap and trash bags. When I asked for more I felt like the management company was doing us a big favor. Just put more in the house to start. How much does that really affect profitability? $5 maybe. Also, the top bedroom is not air conditioned.Why not?

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: To start out, I want to say we had a great time for our stay, the beach and the pools were a lot of fun and renting everything was easy. However, upon arrival to our unit I immediately noticed it smelled like cigarette smoke. The facility is said to be entirely smoke free but it was overwhelming. I sent a message to the staff and she said they’d look into it. I didn’t hear back and sent another message and said something to the front desk the next morning. Still nothing so I made a comment when we were leaving and she said a manager would reach out. Someone from their “leadership” team did reach out after I emailed again when I got back and all of my children’s laundry also smelled of smoke. She tried to tell me that housekeeping went by and didn’t notice anything or that it could be the air freshener they have in that building?? No air freshener smells like cigarette smoke. They didn’t offer anything beyond an “I’m sorry” despite the fact that I was assured through their rental agreement that all units are smoke free. Ultimately it was just disappointing.

Reviewer Comments: Never having been to Cinnamon Shores, we were grateful the pictures, online reviews, friends’ descriptions, seeing and experiencing all that is offered was as it was said to be. While a view of the ocean would have been nice, the walk to and from the beach was close and relaxing - as were our walks around Cinnamon Shores North property. Because we found everything we needed on property, we even chose to enjoy our fine dining experience at Lizsbella’s rather than going into Port A... which is easily accessible. The green spaces offered lawn games, concerts, grills, fire pits, & 3 awesome and different pool areas. The staff in the registration area, realty, coffee/bakery shop, pool side bar, restaurant, & maintenance were all courteous, engaging, responsive, and eager to make our experience great. Our condo unit was perfect for the 2 of us, and provided appropriate kitchen items for our having the meals in we chose to have. With multiple college football games on, ease of watching TV was challenging and not available . Having a washer & dryer is always nice, however, checking the lint tray will be done next time prior to drying to ensure lack of sand from previous usage. Due to unforeseen/flooding weather conditions the day prior to and the day of our planned arrival, staff was able to and courteous about moving our day of arrival and departure forward for the amount of days we’d planned for. We will definitely return...bringing out-of-state family to enjoy a different & larger unit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is great and it is stocked with everything you should need (both types of coffee pots, etc). However it looks and feels a little run down (comforters need cleaned, rug in master needs replaced or cleaned, dishwasher is not aligned so hard to close, ice maker runs poorly, etc). One of the bathroom doors needs switched too as they both swing in (from the bedroom and the living room) and smack into each other constantly (one should swing out instead of in). However the bed is very comfortable, the AC works great and is in a wonderful location.

Cinnamon shore was great - filled with families and young kids. The condo was perfect for me and my husband. Only issue was there was we only had hot water once. And we got sent to the wrong condo upon check in and had to go back and figure out what went wrong.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second time visiting Cinnamon Shores, and the trip was an overall good time. However, we were not very happy with the appearance of our room this time around. The room in general had a lot of stains all over the furniture, a couple of the dining chairs were wobbly, and the floor felt sandy and gritty. We were not completely happy receiving the room this way, but we tried to make the best of it. Hopefully, the next time we visit, we will not encounter this same problem.

Quick Stay

We had a great time at CS. We were there for the sandcastle competition weekend. A golf cart is a must! Check in was easy and staff is very friendly. The condo was clean and inviting.

Beach Zen Cinnamon Shore Review

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our vacation was relaxing and enjoyable despite the hiccups we had during our stay. The pools, beautiful landscaping, short commute to the beach and on-site restaurants were among our favorite things. Upon checking in, our key did not work and when told that someone would be there to help us soon, that didn’t happen. So we had to make another trip to the office. When we got in to our room, there were a large quantity of bugs on the counter that were dead. Housekeeping had to come and clean that up. The next day we experienced ants all over the counter crawling on our things. They had to come spray for those. My husband took a cold shower because for the there was no hot water one morning. The water pressure was not good at all. My husband got unexpectedly called in to work cutting our stay 1 day short. We were told there was nothing that could be done to reimburse that. We understood as rules are rules and we didn’t expect to be the exception. However, given the many bumps on the road, we hoped there would be more eagerness on the staff to compensate that. They were very nice and did offer an apology, but nothing beyond that. If they had offered to move us to a different room or reimburse us for a day, we likely would have declined. But, it would have been comforting to know that they were willing to go the extra mile to ensure we have a great stay. It may not keep us from coming back, but it certainly doesn’t make us want to make it a priority.

There were a few issues with our unit including an unfortunate ant situation where hundreds of ants got into the kitchen including into a container of chips that my three year old proceeded to eat from until I noticed the ants crawling all over the container. They were inside feasting on the chips. The unit also had some sort of ant with wings or perhaps termites or something like that, that also came in handfuls every evening that we would find mostly dead or dying in the kitchen sink, counter and window. The unit will need to be checked inside and outside for the source. Kudos to Chad and Caitlin on your team for springing into action and helping to resolve the ant situation with minimal inconvenience to us. They provided excellent customer service. Chad also worked to remove the extra squeaky fan noise - ultimately y’all will just need to replace the fan altogether. It’s not near as loud as it was on day one, but it’s probably reached it’s end of life. The water pressure issue was bizarre - but Chad explained it to us. The first unit we stayed in this past April didn’t have these issues that I recall - that one had a broken washing machine that was set to be repaired after we checked out. The water pressure here was only a minor thing to get used to. Every home needs maintenance and attention and we cannot expect that a vacation home is any different. The issues, once identified and reported, were immediately worked on - and that is how you know you are staying at a quality location. When Management cares and acts quickly, issues are just that and they don’t become real problems. We’re already looking at future dates to come back to Cinnamon Shore.
