Holiday family trip

Very nice place. Great location in Coronado Host was very communicative and accommodating. Answered our questions promptly, nicely appointed but could have had a few more refills such as tissues and hand soap for dispensers. We would stay again.

Cool location

We enjoyed the house and location. Lots of restaurants and grocery within walking distance. There are a lot of stairs so it can be challenging for small children or elderly grandparents. We enjoyed our stay and the property owner was quick to respond to any questions we had.

Relaxing Stay!

Location of property was an excellent location, walkable to everything Coronado had to offer. Some walks might be longer than others but the walks are so enjoyable you don’t feel the distance. Great corner townhome with tons of light and view of the water. Very clean and host, Lorena is very easy to get a hold of and very responsive. Highly recommend!

Amazing View

We stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time. The location is amazing and within walking distance to everything. My wife forgot a shell that my son had found and gifted to her, the owner went out of her way to take the shell to FedEx and send it back to my wife. This act of kindness made a huge difference to my wife. Great house and even better owner.

Great location but poor accuracy of info

Good location very walkable. Clean home and well stockes but wear and tear is very evident. Lot of issues with basement bathroom and the 2 basement bedrooms are very small. Bed sizes not as advertised. Car parking a challenge. Was not able to park 2 cars in garage as advertised as owner had a personal car there. And courtyard blocked other driveways. Would not stay here again.

Lovely home and location with some need for improvements

Lorena’s property had so many positives for our family trip. The location is amazing, especially for accessing the amenities of the bayside of the island. The views are really spectacular from the top inside floor and the rooftop as well. Lorena as a host is extremely kind, super responsive to any questions, and was so sweet to work with us regarding arrival and departure needs. The family as a whole is very sweet. Most of the issues that we did encounter are likely to not be ongoing problems with this particular property given the clear intention of the owners to make this a positive experience for their guests. The main critiques we encountered apart from unexpected room placement, are that the floors were very dirty, so much so that they turned my daughters feet black almost instantly after arriving - so we wore our shoes as much as possible. The kitchen had some items missing I would deem as basic (a functional colander, scissors/knives, baking sheet, mixer, etc.) While pretty, all of the doors to all of the main bedrooms have frosted glass panels, and the rooms/bathrooms also have full clear windows above them. So any light in the entire house will filter into each room. The rooms do not have curtains, only blinds, which do not filter or block the back parking lot lights or street lights very well. All aspects considered, this is a wonderful place, and a really great location for Coronado, and I imagine it will only be more so with continued time :)

Great stay on Coronado Island

I'm not a fan of booking a home that doesnt have reviews but am happy we chose to stay at Lorena's condo on Coronado Island. This was our first time visiting the island so we weren't sure what to expect. Lorena's communication from the time we booked to the time we left was great. I had a few questions prior to the stay and she was prompt in getting back to me. When we arrived at the home, I was a little confused on the different codes to access the garage. I called Lorena and she answered right away and clarified what i needed to do. It was noted in the instructions but i forgot to try one of the codes to access the gate. For future tenants staying there, the garage is behind a gate that is in the alley on the West side of the property. Lorena will provide you the gate code to access the garage courtyard area. She will also give you the garage door code to open the garage. Once you're in the house, there is a gate and garage door opener so getting in and out of the property is very easy. When we arrived at the home, I noticed there were a few beach chairs and beach towels in the garage which was nice to have. The home was very clean and well stocked. There are a lot of pots and pans, plates and silverware but the silverware is a bit hidden in some drawers in the island. The property is on the North side of the island so about 10 blocks from Hotel Del. Its a quick drive or trolley ride over to that side or if you're feeling up to it, about a 25 min walk.
