Great place. Quaint and Quiet. Close to bay and a pleasant walk to the clean.
I thought is was quaint and homelike. The only improvement would be another small nightstand for water glasses at night on the other side of the bed.
Cute, Clean and comfortable. Modern updated feel. Only complaint i would have is the noise from the cars on Orange. Stayed in room #1 which windows are facing street of cars. Would stay here again but make sure to ask for a room further from the street. Besides that, even though I didn’t meet the person that checked us in as they left a note with my name on it and the door open with key on the bed, she was very friendly over the phone and helpful. Great little place!

Basic accommodations, clean and close to Coronado ferry landing. Location is a bit noisy. Staff was great and have worked very hard to keep the property up and offer little amenities that go make the stay nice for people on a budget.
Everything was fine, only critique would be to go a little easier on cleaning materials, lingering odor of disinfectant required leaving both windows open...appreciated the cleanliness though!
If you want comfortable beds & a nice shower & that's it... Then stay here. Room was way too small for my taste; it's a little bit older of a place. The sitting area out front is nice and the staff is friendly & attentive. The parking situation is a little rough; only 2 spots in the front & you have to pull out directly into traffic on the main, busy street. For the price I got it for, it was tolerable. It's a little far from the beach & shops, so I probably wouldn't stay again unless I got a killer deal. Basically if you walk 3 feet in any direction you hit a wall, bed, door or bathroom; very tight.
Went to Coronado Island recently for the first time. I was looking for a top quality stay on a budget. I was thrilled to see that the low price I paid for the room was NO indication of the quality of the room and staff! We were pleasantly surprised to find that the room was squeaky clean, and the staff was very kind and helpful! They even added the little touches that mean so much and make customers feel welcome. We loved our stay, and look forward to staying with our new friends at "El Rancho" again. I tell everyone we know that if they're planning a trip to Coronado Island, but they're watching their pennies.... this IS the place to go! Clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, the "little touches", mini fridges, and flowers right outside the room... check! Great place! A MUST!!!
