Just short of the main town but with a good pub that serves food across the road. Quiet and cheerful. We stayed in a cabin. 4 small boys plus nana and parents . Kids didn't want to go out. They loved it; jumping pillow; basketball ring; ride on stuff; a good playground for little ones and a pool. So clean and well looked after. Above everything fabulous staff ; nothing was too much trouble.
Well set up camp , good facilities and great warm pool. Motel we had was very good and spotlessly clean all run by friendly helpful staff . This stay convinced me to join the TOP 10 Club with all it's benefits . See below its a motor camp not a hotel.
We had a great time at the Top 10 Coromandel. Friendly staff, very, very clean. Good facilities in the apartment the Captains Hodge Premium Two Bedroom Apartment with double ensuite. Really good value for money.
This was our first time with Top10 and we were pleasantly surprised. The cabin was ideal for a 1 night stay and the site had everything you needed and more. Join the Top10 before you book and you can make great savings throughout NZ including the ferry.
This was really nice for a holiday park! We stayed in a campervan plus an additional motel room (thing). There was lots of things for kids; there was a playground (pretty average), a pool (way smaller than the picture and the water slide was like a playground slide but we still had fun), and a “jumping pillow” (inflatable bouncy pillow thing is the best way to describe it). There was lots of people there because it was Easter weekend though. The motel room thing was pretty good! We had to get one because we had 7 people but only 6 places to sleep in the campervan. There was 2 double beds and a single which was good because some extra people could sleep there so it wasn’t so cramped in the campervan. Lots of tv channels and really nice kitchen and bathroom area for a holiday park. The only thing I would say is that there wasn’t many outlets and the ones we did have were in strange places. It was a really great stay! (The pictures below are when the pillow is not inflated)
We stayed in one of the small cabins and found the beds to be comfortable and the place nice and clean. Care is taken to ensure people don’t leave food about to attract ants, and as a result we didn’t find any. The kitchen facilities are good and there are barbecues that can be used. You don’t need to bring anything for cooking (apart from your food!) - all is provided. The pool is small so suitable for children and there is a play area and bouncy pillow for the little ones. Recommended for families. The park is close to Coromandel Town. WiFi is provided but limited in volume. As long as you disable automatic updates and photo upload services on your phone, you will be fine though (we didn’t reach the limit).
All the Staff were so helpful and always with a smile. My Kitchen Cabin was absolutely perfect for my needs and sheltered by trees. Having 24 hour Wifi for my Youtube Music and Videos was tremendous. The Harrys Track walk,Driving Creek Railway trip,Snapper Safaris Fishing trip, Sunbathing and the Swimming Pool, plus relaxing made for an excellent NZ holiday.I will be staying again next year
We just had a powered site for one night in our camper van. A nice site close to the town. The best part for us was the location and being able to stroll into town for an evening meal. There are plenty of restaurants/pubs to chose from. The facilities were good and our pitch was a reasonable size. Being a bank holiday it was very busy and lots of tents and cars crammed in.
Great wee spot. Very clean and tidy throughout the entire place. Friendly helpful staff. We stayed in a small cabin.. beds were comfy and towels linen were provided. We did have a few ants inside but staff sorted them out stra ight away. The atmosphere was very quiet and relaxing as the school hols were finished.
