Set sail on SS Tranquility, a newly-updated oceanside home located in the popular Corolla community of Ocean Sands. Major renovations for 2025 include new flooring, furniture, paint, appliances, lighting, vanities, and more!

Peacefully surrounded by trees, and only 1,000 feet to the beach access, SS Tranquility is perfectly situated for ultimate relaxation. Enjoy ocean breezes from the comfortably furnished wraparound deck. Take a stroll around the nearby lake or have your feet in the sand of the pristine northern OBX beaches in minutes. SS Tranquility is also conveniently located near tennis, golf and shopping, as well as close to the famous Duck Donuts for those warm maple and bacon donuts in the morning!

The covered porches are a great place to enjoy your morning coffee and plan your day. The large decks are ideal for relaxing with a good book and soaking up some rays. Stay warm in the cooler months next to the gas fireplace, available October-April. You will be glad you set your sails for a calm sea aboard the SS Tranquility!

SS Tranquility is a very comfortable retreat that offers everything you need for a memorable vacation. A recreation room with video games and a full-size refrigerator will keep everyone entertained. All of the bedrooms have streaming TVs with ROKU including 3 additional, one in the living area, one in the rec room, and one in the loft.

Beautiful place so close to the beach

The house’s open layout was beautiful. My daughter loved laying in the nook while we watched tv. Short walk to the beach; perfect for watching sunrise or sunset. Only issue - cleaning of place was 2 out of five. There were dead gnats all over upstairs wi downhill, fruit flies in blender and cobwebs all over dining room light.
