This hotel is away from downtown / old town Cordoba, but not really all that far. We had a wonderful room (especially compared to all the AirBnB's we had been staying at previously on this trip) and there was a superb breakfast. We booked on Orbitz where there were discounts on the hotel and an excellent rate to add-on the breakfast. Some of the reviews indicate that parking off-site is easy. On market days, at least, it is not so easy. And it is not easy if you get there late. At least that was our experience. We parked about a ten minute walk away. The on-street parking seemed to be plenty safe. So overall, I definitely recommend this hotel. You might want to consider the hotel's parking garage. Breakfast was yummy.
We went to Córdoba and had a lovely day, the history was all around to see and the gardens were beautiful. We found a back street restaurant and had a very reasonably priced meal that was superb. Just a shame they don't use all the oranges that grow everywhere.
The room good and simple.the location of the hotel near supermarket. The breakfast was ok .No rest for dinner and evening cafe.the room small and ok for 1 night stayed.Free wifi but the service not very good.
A lot of free parking near the hotel. Friendly staff. Pretty quiet. Only one power socket working (from a total of two), the other was broken and instead of repairing it, they suggested to only use the first one. Pretty old looking, not really a 4 stars, at most 3 stars hotel. Very far from city center.
Stayed two Nights at this hotel. Clean, modern well-equipped hotel located on the other side of the river from Cordoba old town. However, this is not a large draw-back as the old town can be reached in about 20 min walking; and there is a bus line to the centre passing a few min walk from the hotel. No restaurant at the hotel (and we found none in the neighbourhood either). However, there are shops and cafes/outlets serving small meals nearby. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Recommended.
location of the hotel was excellent, the rooms were very good and much appreciated air con was well received. however, there was no restaurants for evening meals, you need to go elsewhere, In late June is is very hot so getting about is a challenge, not good if you have small children, the very elderly or disabled. Everywhere closes for siesta from 2.00 -5.00pm and getting cold drinks, or a beer is quite difficult, think the best time to see this lovely place is winter times, Breakfast at the hotel was good, lots of choice of foods, hot, cold, tradtional, all staff were very helpful, everwhere was clean and tidy, would return to this hotel but in cooler season.Despite free WiFi, the service is not very good in the bedrooms, much better in the foyer, all rooms have TV but not a cummunal TV downstairs in the foyer, small mini bar available, but empty, no stock, however there are drink machines available.
Pros: - Located 15 minutes walk to Mezquita - Free parking and wifi - Good breakfast - Friendly staff - Clean rooms - Reasonable price Cons: - a bit old fashioned - basic rooms - old-fashioned toilets - not much choice for good food close-by - no swimming pool, bar, restaurant - basic cosmetics in the toilet - rooms are not cozy at all Good for a short stay.
This hotel is located in a suburb very near to city center: The mosque is 2km far (+/- 20 min walking). The hotel had a paid parking lot but there are many free parking spaces nearby. The hotel is modern, the room was big. The only disadvantage is that has bar on the window. The best part was the breakfast with very fresh and great quality products. The price is also reasonable for the quality of the Hotel.
Pros • Easy to find • 15 minutes walk to old bridge (Puente Romano) • Excellent breakfast • Friendly, adequate staff • Modern, spacious, clean room with good beds and bathroom • Free parking behind hotel Cons • Not cozy • Dull location • Just like most Spanish hotels: thin walls! You got to have luck with your neighbors! The overall cost-benefit ratio was excellent. Adequate choice for short stay.
We found this hotel very easy to find. The parking is very good you have a choice of underground or in secure area at rear of hotel. The staff are very friendly. The place is very clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast buffet is quite adequate. We couldn't see the sea or the beach like one review said. Perhaps the problem was that Portugal was in the way and we were only on the second floor.
