Sweet 1 Bedroom Bungalow - Otsego Lake

Compact and efficient, but full of good energy and light, is this lovely single level bungalow with Otsego Lake views. You will enjoy all of the comforts of home plus a lovely yard.

In addition to two bedrooms, a full bath, cozy living room with gas fireplace, and a fully stocked kitchen, there is a sunporch with dining area (and a second gas fireplace), a screened porch and an open sundeck with outdoor seating, gas grill and pretty lake views.

A sizable private yard is perfect for tossing a ball or relaxing in the hammock. There is private driveway with parking for up to two vehicles.

Located 11.5 miles (18 minutes) to Cooperstown Dreams Park. 6.7 miles (11 minutes) to the village of Cooperstown, and 30 miles (45 minutes) to All Star Village.

**No lake access, but you do have lake views!

Cozy spot

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was as listed. The grandkids enjoyed sleeping over in the little bedroom I only gave 3 stars for the location because we were driving to Dreams Park multiple times a day and it was a 20-25 min drive. I didn't pay close enough attention to that when searching for a place.

Cute place with pros and cons

Cute place, relatively private. Distant lake views from windows and deck over highway. Some road noise while sitting on deck. Many amenities include well stocked kitchen, large TV, plenty of room. Big side yard, but no lawn chairs provided. Photos we saw didnt all.match reality. Bed had no boxspring and was uncomfortable. There was no bureau, all reported so may have been corrected. House was clean but screen porch was dirty and full of cobwebs, and only about half of the strung lights worked. The grill needed to be cleaned before we used it, and food was left in freezer. The biggest negative for us was arriving to a distinct smell of cigarette smoke in the main bedroom, which affected my respiratory condition, requiring me to use medication. It permeated bedding as well. Although quick to respond to our email when we reported the concern, the property management co. did not offer a feasible solution for me. Instead they entered the house the day after while we were out and said they didn’t smell smoke, so dismissed our concern. This made for an uncomfortable situation for the remaining time we had to be in the area. the freezer, dirty coffee cups in the cabinet.

Amazing property in Cooperstown

My husband and I stayed in this charming property for 3 nights. The property was exactly as described and depicted in the pictures. It is a short drive to downtown Cooperstown and we enjoyed the location spending late afternoons sitting on the deck overlooking the lake. We highly recommend this property!

Best little house 15 min from dreams park

Our experience was so much fun in Cooperstown! We had the cutest house to stay at with all the amenities except lake access. We would have loved to be able to walk out on a deck to put our toes in the water but hey that’s ok…the lifting just needs to be clearer. Thanks for the stay.

Central location for local adventures

The Triphena bungalow was perfect for us as a central location for our local adventures. We enjoyed cocktails on the deck that had a view of Otsego Lake with a beautiful moonrise in the evening. The place had all conveniences, very clean and peaceful. Triphena is a short distance from all Cooperstown attractions, which we took advantage of by visiting the National Baseball Hall of Fame and the Farmer's Museum. Hope to return same time next year! Thank you, Michele for making our pre-anniversary getaway special!
