We stayed at this property for 3 weeks. The only complaint I have and it is significant, has to do with the separate unit downstairs, that is available as a rental. The unit was rented twice during our stay. When both units are rented at the same time, it creates shared space of parking spots, driveway, yard and back patio areas. There was no privacy and walking outside or sitting on the patio became awkward because there were strangers a couple of feet away or even in the same space. The set up of the house creates a situation where the visitors of both units can hear each other talking and walking around. The dog friendly gated yard becomes useless because you have to walk your dog on a leash when both units are occupied. At one point, the other occupants had a party in our shared driveway. We could not even get in the driveway and one of their guests walked into our unit. I would not have reserved this house if I knew other people could be there and what the setup for this was. I do think there should be a better description of the circumstances when both units are reserved by separate families. With all of that said, the property itself is great. The property owners and manager were amazing to work with. They were extremely responsive and helpful. The house is clean and full of character and felt like home. I would stay there again, but only if the other unit was not reserved at the same time.

We had a great time!

Everything was perfect. Pretty nice location. The only thing that concerned me was there were people below us and we really couldn't enjoy it like we want to with the kids being there. However they had a wonderful time I would definitely revisit this location again maybe next time not bring the kids. (Grandkids by the way so we really didn't have to lol) Communication with the owners were wonderful they were very attentive. The location was secure. The amenities were wonderful. And even though we had neighbors below us they were very cordial. I must say the kids had a wonderful time and the pool. One of the reasons why we chose this location is because it did have a swimming pool. These owners have a reasonable price for a wonderful location All in all I would definitely say 8 out of 10 stars only because we had the kids it would have been 10 out of 10 if we did not. So it is not because of the owners it was because of our situation that it was not rated a perfect vacation.

Great house for Lake Conroe access

This was the perfect property to be a home base for a fishing tournament. House was comfortable, well-equipped and secure. Plenty of parking, including covered parking for a boat. Very attentive management. Highly recommend.

Much to enjoy.

Our family enjoyed this property so much. It was like being in the country and in the city at the same time. We would return if ever in the Conroe area. Great place if you have pups with you. Lots of grass.

Excellent stay!

We stayed here for almost 3 weeks while our home was being renovated, and we couldn't have been happier with our stay. Very clean and well maintained. The owner, Roy, and property manager, Matt, were very responsive and helpful. We actually had to stay an extra week due to an issue at our home, and Roy was incredibly helpful and worked things out so we could stay. The area was quiet, and while it was too cold to swim in the pool, it looked well maintained and clean. We were very glad to have such a nice place to stay. Highly recommend!

We walked in and the house was very clean. It was very relaxing. There were things to do to keep my daughter entertained. We loved the dart board and she enjoyed playing the piano! The host was very helpful and checked in on us. If we messaged or needed anything we always got a super quick response!

Perfect Location

We were close to the MLF staging area and plenty of eating establishments. Great for minimal traffic issues and very nice home. It would be a great place for a summer getaway as well.

Huge yard off the beaten path

This was a great place for my daughter to visit and get away from the hustle & bustle of city living. It's just a few minutes away from restaurants and shopping while still being in a country setting. My only advice would be to bring blankets if you are staying in the cooler months. I'm sure its usually warm there and blankets aren't needed, but it was cool when we were there in November. The thermostat is remotely controlled by the host, and they were great about quickly adjusting it when we asked, but we didn't want to ask every evening and morning. Also, we didn't realize the property has two separate units in the same dwelling. I probably just didn't read the listing close enough. But we were surprised that someone else was staying there at the same time. It was fine. They had a really sweet dog that we enjoyed. However, another group showed up our last night. They stayed up later than us, talking on their patio just outside and downstairs from the master bedroom. It kept us awake for a while. It was a great stay though overall.

The house was amazing and the neighborhood was absolutely gorgeous. We would definitely come back. I'd say the only inconvenience about our stay was the road work on the road to the house so we had to take the long route everytime. But that's not the property's owners fault whatsoever. the

Renfest Trip!!

We absolutely loved the property and it was so beautiful to stay in, the host and property manager were super sweet and were very friendly in case we needed to reach out for anything. The pool was clean and so was the house and check in and out was super easy. We will definitely stay on their properties again!

Best Get Away

The house is very stylish and comfortable! All the amenities we needed & the kids loved the pool and the swing ! The pond was amazing !! Very close to restaurants and the neighbors were very nice. Overall, we totally enjoyed our stay.

Loved it!

The host was amazing! The house is nice with updated bathrooms. The kitchen has dishes, utensils, and cookware which made our stay easier since we didn’t have to eat out the entire time. The pool is large and was nice to get in on the hot days. My family enjoyed our time here and played games almost every night. I recommend this rental to anyone looking to stay close to Conroe and Lake Conroe. You must try Pizza Shack in Montgomery!
