Having intended to visit the Michelin restaurant in Condom, the rain put us off trying to find it, so having seen this Hotel in the middle of the town, right by the river and with parking on the quayside opposite, we decided to go there instead. The Hotel looks very ordinary and right on the road, but inside was a very pleasant surprise. Light, bright and spacious there’s also an indoor courtyard which must be lovely to use had the weather been better. There’s a selection of menus starting at 13.50€ plus an a la Carte menu with a sensible choice of dishes. The staff were very helpful, efficient and the meal beautifully presented. Wines can be bought by the glass, bottle or ‘pichet’ of the local wines. We chose a half litre of rose at only 4€.

A nice hotel, a place to stay for a week or two. We especially enjoyed the garden with its wonderful restaurant. Delicious food. The rooms are small but comfortable. We can warmly recommend this hotel. The city center is not far away.

No one dancing for joy at the Continental ! We chickened out of the lamb curry and beefed about the meat. What a shame when a place which was once good goes down hill. This was the case when we lunched at the Continental Hotel at Condom. I had eaten there a couple of time a year or more ago and it was fine. Today we had a table for 4 at 12.30h and for lunch it was already too late… The place was busy and the service very slow. The fixed menu for 14.00€ seemed like good value till it was served up. A salad started with a small slice of raw ham and a little cheese and leaves, they called a Gascone salad. We had to beg for bread. The other choices for main course was Lamb curry or grilled beef. Three of us chickened out of the curry and chose the beef. The former, according to my English guest had, not even a hint of curry. more like a lamb stew. Three of us who chose the steak ,beefed about it as it was very tough and a really poor cut of meat. Further more 1 of our lady friends ordered a gin and tonic, it was suspicious from the start as it had a slice of orange in it. Once empty, the glass has a distinct aroma of Pastis ! This was initially masked by the orange but not hidden when the glass was empty. We asked the manageress to smell the glass and say what it smelled of and she would not commit. All in all it was a very poor meal and the service and attitude of the staff very dismissal ! A poor show in what used to be quite a good restaurant. Please not this is a review of the restaurant not the hotel !

The welcome at Hotel Continental is warm and friendly this sets the tone for the whole hotel. Each member of staff treated me like I was really important to them. The rooms are spotless, cool and airy with large windows. The bathrooms are also cleaned until they shine and you get plenty of towels and hot water. I've stayed in two rooms 18 and 24 both had beds that were really comfy. Room 24 has a separate bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a sitting room whereas 18 is a bedroom and bathroom. The rooms at the front do get a little road noise but to be honest I hardly noticed it. The food is good. Dinner offers a lovely select of local cuisine and breakfast is a traditional French affair with pastries cheese cold meat tea coffee fruit and boiled eggs. Overall I think this is a wonderful hotel and I'd stay here again as it's perfectly located for exploring the region.

Stayed at the hotel continental for one night. The hotel is clean and the gardens are nice. Spa was good but quite small. The room was average. Overall happy with our stay however won't be returning as there isn't much to see in this town.

This hotel offers basic shelter. Rooms and bathrooms very small. Fair wifi. No toiletries. Free parking in the vicinity next to the Baise River. The main drawback is that the hotel is on a busy road and street noise level is very high. There are double glazed windows and a cooling system,if you do not need fresh air, you will be okay. Mediocre breakfast.

Decided to stay a night in Condom as part of a tour around the south-west of France. Nearby is the fantastic Chateau de Cassaigne which is a favourite spot for collecting Armagnac and Floc de Gascogne. The hotel has been refurbished, really nicely done with clean simple rooms with large beds and plenty of space. Great garden area out the back which is a lovely place to sit for early evening aperitif. The restaurant is fantastic just amazing food and service.

We arrived in Condom for a friends wedding in a Vic-Fezensac, and had no trouble finding this beautiful typically French hotel sat beside the canal. A very clean, very quiet hotel. We were fortunate to have a room overlooking the beautiful garden (room 19). Breakfast was great, plenty of choice of pastries, meats, cheeses, breads, yoghurt & juices. We had drinks in the landscaped gardens, all reasonably priced. Lunch was delicious, local food cooked by a local chef, trés fantastique! We would definately book this hotel again, great central location, very good value for money.

It was lovely to get out of the chain hotel habit in France. This is a beautiful little place, well-maintained, nice garden, small but beautifully-formed bedroom and bathroom. Staff very helpful and the restaurant served a good variety of meals with a good choice of things to eat for breakfast.

The exterior gives very little away - the yellow stucco walls of a traditional 3-story building overlooking the main canal punctuated by blue painted shutters against the summer sun. From the outside, nothing was exceptional. As I discovered, the interior was undergoing a transformation. Although I had a long haul up the narrow stairs to my simply furnished but well air conditioned 3rd floor room, current guests can make use of a newly installed elevator and upgraded furnishings. The landscaped outdoor terrace restaurant complements the traditional interior setting; and it serves local produce, well prepared and ably served. In collaboration with two talented, local physiotherapists, Le Continental can offer weary travelers (especially Camino walkers) restorative massages in a spa setting in one of the renovated outbuildings accessible from the outdoor terrace. The significant grounds behind the hotel will likely host further improvements under the management's directions. All in all, Le Continental offers excellent value for money.
