Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt in einer faszinierenden Gegend

Wir waren Anfang September für 2 Wochen in der im Haus Casa Marea. Gleich vorab möchte ich mich nochmals bei Madame Mimma und ihrer lieben Tochte Raffaella bedanken. Auch wir wurden mit einem leckeren Apfelkuchen und Tee begrüßt. Das Haus war pickobell und die Aussicht einmalig. Klimaanlage, Fliegengitter ausreichend Geschirr...alles da !Da das Haus nicht an einer Hauptstrasse liegt war es nachts schön ruhig und man konnte entspannt schlafen. Wir waren wirklich sehr zufrieden . Die Amalfi Küste ist der Hammer, allerdings darf man wirklich keine Angst vor engen.!!!(ich meine,wirklich engen) unglaublich kurvenreichen Strassen haben. Auch Parken ist an der kompletten Küste ein echtes Problem. Angst vor Kratzer und Dellen am Auto sollte man nicht haben und wissen, dass für eine Strecke von 20 km bis zu einer Stunde Zeit benötigt wird. Wer das in Kauf nimmt erlebt eine unglaublich faszinierende Landschaft mit einem sauberen Meer.

Charming villa in Conca dei Marini

Thank you Mimma for the delicious apple torte and yummy fresh lemonade!! We enjoyed our stay very much, your beautiful home was perfect for our little family...we will be back soon. Although Positano and Amalfi and Ravello are beautiful we will always stay in Conca when we go to the Amalfi Coast. Everyone is so welcoming and wonderful, please say hello to Fiore and Antonio at Le Bonita Del Capo for us!! For sure next time we are renting scooters from Salvatore at Rent a Scooter because it’s 900 steps down to The beach!! Thank you again for being a great host!!

Wonderful location, warm hosts and lovely views

Perfect location for visiting the Amalfi coast - we spent 5 nights here and found it easy to drive to the beautiful Amalfi towns and do day trips to Naples and Pompeii. The hosts, Mimi and Rafaella, were very responsive and considerate. They stayed in touch throughout our stay and were generous with their time and hospitality. We even had a delicious Apple Cake baked by Mimi the host waiting for us! The town is small and residential but has some really good resteraunts and a well stocke​d supermarket. Thank you Rafaella and Mimi for a wonderful stay!

Fabulous QUIET location on the Amalfi Coast

We loved our 6 night stay at Mimma's house in Conca dei Marini, just north of Amalfi. Our local hostess and her daughter, Raffaela, could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. The house is comfortable and very clean. The kitchen is reasonably well equipped to allow us to make breakfasts and some other meals. There is secure, available parking nearby and a nice grocery store in short walking distance. A fabulous restaurant, La Bonta dei Capo, is also close by. We loved that Conca is quiet and peaceful- a welcome change from the crowds and chaos in the larger towns on the coast. Words of warning however- the address given by VRBO is incorrect- its actually Via 1 Maggio #50. VRBO should address this error. Also, the house is on a steep grade, as is everything on the coast, and requires walking up several flights of stairs, so this location is not recommended for people with walking/climbing difficulties or other handicap.

Beautiful and very cozy place

Me and my wife States here for our honeymoon. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Location was great! Mimma was a great host. She made us a delicious apple tart and a few lemons as a welcome gift.

Absolutely loved our stay in this home!

A beautiful home in Conca which offers a very authentic experience. We had such a lovely time there, as it is so quiet and relaxing, yet only a short walk to the piazza, shops and restaurants. Mimma and Raffaella are so warm, friendly and helpful, we were sad to say goodbye to them. The house is spotlessly clean and decorated to offer a true Amalfi experience. We will definitely stay again when we return to Conca!

A lovely place to stay

Our hostess was so gracious and helpful. She even baked us something as a welcome gift! The house was immaculate and beautifully decorated with gorgeous tile work everywhere. We were within easy walking distance to the grocery store and restaurants . There was even a kumquat tree next to the patio and we helped ourselves every day. Lemons grew within arm's reach. We enjoyed the patio with it's shade from the sun and ate many of our dinners there. I would recommend spending the extra money for a parking space - it was well worth it. We would return.

No heating

We stayed in February, the outside temperature in the morning was 4 to 7 but there was no heating in the house. Even though there were radiators in the house, we had to ask for an auxiliary electric heating that could not warm the whole house. Two of us got sick.. Cable tv did not work. Electric power is not strong enough to support multiple devices (e.g. Owen, heating), so we faced a few cuts (Circuit breaker is outside in the lane leading to the house). Hot water is merely lukewarm. Lastly, we underwent a water cut the last 2 days! Except for that, the owner's family is welcoming and the sea view nice. Sorry to say, but this is my worse renting experience.. All these issues are probably not a big deal in the summertime, but this house should not be rented in winter.
