Loved Compostela

Hotel Akawe was very comfortable and an easy walk (10 minutes) to the main plaza where there are several good restaurants and coffee shops as well as a 16th century cathedral.

Nice hotel, but noisy in the morning

Very nice hotel, good location, comfortable rooms. My only issue is the noise in the morning was overwhelming as the atrium goes from the ground floor to the roof and the TV in the lobby was very loud. The sound echoed up in an uncomfortable manner.

Compostela has outstanding food and for us that began at the hotel restaurant. Amazing food, great drinks, great coffee! The staff was very friendly, the room was nice with comfortable firm beds, good water pressure and hot water. We loved our stay at this hotel and would repeat if we are in the area again.

The personnel of this hotel were great. The hotel is not very big but has restaurant and bar. The rooms lack some common items found in other hotels like hair dryers, soaps and the bathrooms lack convenient illumination. The most inconvenient thing is location. the hotel is located on a busy and very noisy street and the parking is not very convenient.
