In the heart of the Petite Cité de Caractère® of Combourg, cradle of romanticism linked to the writer François René de Chateaubriand, your gite welcomes you in a former shop completely renovated in 2022 to offer you a very comfortable living environment with decoration neat. Atypical by its beautiful volume and bright by its large bay windows opening onto two wooden terraces equipped with garden tables, armchairs and deckchairs, you will be seduced by its spacious living room. The layout of the house also ensures a pleasant intimacy of the bedrooms and bathrooms spread over the three levels. Beautiful spacious house

It is a beautifully designed house, spacious, modern and airy. Yann was very helpful, allowed us to check in early and shared with us information about the local area. Well situated in the heart of lovely Combourg, with an easy walk to bars, restaurants and shops. Parking easy in immediate vicinity. Downsides: works in the the shower room on the top floor meant in was not in use during our stay, and wifi had not been installed. This is our first French visit in a town rather than a countryside location and naturally being in a town does mean more noise, the bar next door appears to serve until 1am on most days of the week. We arrived on the day on the town's music festival (24 June) and there was a musician's staging area, directly in front of the house which was significantly noisy until about 3am! All that aside, we had a lovely and relaxing stay, the proximity and view of the Lake is a great bonus and the house will comfortably sleep 8.

Logement très agréable, dommage pour le bruit

Logement magnifique, lumineux, très bien équipé. Au pied du château. Communication très agréable avec Yann. Le seul bémol (mais tout de même très dérangeant) : le bruit du bar juste à côté 2 nuits sur la semaine (cris et verres brisés juste devant la maison). Il faut espérer qu'une solution puisse être trouvée avec les gérants du bar à côté.

Tolles, außergewöhnliches Ferienhaus

Wunderschön hergerichtetes und stilvoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus in dem hübschen Städtchen Combourg zwischen Schloss und See. Gute Lage, um die Küste und das Hinterland zu erkunden. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Séjour très agréable

Nous avons passé qq jours dans cette maison refaites à neuf. La maison est très agréable et fonctionnelle : grand salon avec cuisine ouverte, 4 chambres, SdBs… 1 terrasse avec vue sur le lac, 1 terrasse intérieure. Le mois de décembre ne nous a malheureusement pas permis de ne profiter ! Combourg est une ville centrale entre St Malo, le Mont St Michel, Dinan, … On y trouve tous les commerces nécessaires a 2 pas de la location. Le propriétaire est très sympathique !
