This was a wonderful place to stay while visiting the Comalcalco ruins. I’m a solo female traveler and felt completely safe the entire time. The cabanas are gorgeous, comfortable, clean, and surrounded by peaceful jungle. The owner was fantastic — welcoming, attentive, and made sure I had everything I needed and is bilingual! It was a really lovely experience. I highly recommend Los Fundadores Estancia Ecológica, the Comalcalco ruins, and the whole town. A wonderful stop in Mexico!
