I stayed in this hotel for 38 days as I was deputed in a project contract at Columbus, Ohio for 6 months. However I had a mixed experience some good some not to my expectations. However this is actually a motel where newcomers could manage their stay as it provides facilities of studio apartments with kitchen. however there is no in-premise restaurant, dining services or any other room service or other service except common laundry. also the WiFi internet speed is very slow and drops frequently during evening and at night.,
The place is clean, but extremely noisy for someone that has to get up early and take people's lives in my hands. I am here for two months, and probably will have to ask for a quieter room. First night was loud all night. Last night, doors slamming at 12:30 at night. Front desk is loud all hours also.Breakfast is nothing, but I am OK with that part. Not sure why they are allowing all the noise. Also, there are basically no channels on the TV at all. Nice flat screen with nothing to watch.
Great very clean room that was recently renovated. The refrigerator looked brand new and the kitchen helped us save money on eating out. Nice sized closet, comfortable beds and plenty of outlets to keep our gadgets charged. Even though the property was next to the interstate the room was very quiet. Very convenient location down the interstate from the fair grounds where my daughter was competing in a horse show. I was hesitant too consider the area this property was located in since reviews from nearby properties mention that the area was run down with less than desirable people roaming around. My wife and daughter would be staying alone for 6 days before I could join the for the last 3. The area turned out to be fine and the property was next to last on a dead end road. Sure there were a few other hotels further down the road the were closed and boarded up but the area was fine. Huge Food Giant grocery store next to the exit was a plus and we never ran across any shady people the whole time we were there. Would surely return for next year's show.
Took my 16 y/o daughter to Visit my senior & freshman daughters at OSU and watch the Buckeyes beat Nebraska. Needed a cheap place to stay. This fit that bill. We were only there for an hour in the afternoon (Game was at 8) before we headed to OSU. Went back after halftime and watched the remainder of the game. Got up early to pick up one of the girls and headed to Cleveland to watch the Cowboys beat the Browns. The Hotel was ok for what we needed it for. The neighborhood didn't seem the best. Only saw the lobby to check in and to grab some coffee, granola bars and a muffin (the free breakfast). Not much of a lobby. The room was fine and the bed was comfortable. The people working were friendly. That's about it. Paid a total of 65.00 during a Saturday night OSU football game so I feel it was worth the price.
This is not really the hotel's fault, though they should warn customers... There is some kind of night club in a warehouse directly next door to the hotel. We were there for only one night, but it was the Friday night before an Ohio State football game, which meant we were there to tailgate early the next morning on Saturday. We attempted to go to sleep around 10:30pm on Friday, but the LOUD music from the night club boomed and banged from 9:00pm until 2:30am!! It was SO loud that it shook the entire hotel!! My husband and I got MAYBE 2 hours of sleep (we planned to wake up at 4:30am...) and were absolutely MISERABLE the following day. We notified the front desk, but she just said that she received several other complaints from other guests, but that there was nothing she could do because it was the business next door. I would NOT recommend staying at this hotel if you need to get a good night's sleep. And I urge the hotel's management to warn weekend guests about the noise. Otherwise, the room was relatively clean and functioning, having been recently renovated) and the hotel staff were very nice. Our only other concern were some of the strange characters lingering in the area of the hotel (partying in the grass outside the hotel, walking along the dark roads surrounding it).
