Made a quick overnight trip to Columbus. Stay was peaceful, process was quick and easy. We stayed overnight. close to places to eat. Bed was comfortable. Checkout was easy. Lots of parking available. Right off the highway.
Stayed at this location for 1 night. Several restaurants close by. Room was clean. Mattress was like sleeping on a rock. Four pillows on bed - 2 very firm, 2 very soft; neither were comfortable for us. Lighting in entranceway and bathroom was good. Lighting for rest of room was poor - no lighting by chair in corner. There was a bedside table on one side of bed, but no electrical outlet to plug in the alarm clock,, so it was inconviently placed on dresser next to TV. Expected kitchen to be stocked with at least minimal items. Cabinets were bare. The only kitchen items were a dish cloth, a drying towel, and a small packet of dishwashing liquid. If you wanted any kitchen items (dishes, utensils, pots, pans) you had to request them from front desk.
Lucked out and got a first floor room next to west exit. Room was clean with the exception of the vent and top of the light in the bathroom but the most important concern when you are staying for 10 days of having a good mattress was meet. Love the wide open roomy closet and the amount of space the room has but this room had a chair instead of a recliner (miss the recliner). Great location close to the fairgrounds where my daughter was competing in a horse show. Polaris with it's abundance of eateries and shopping is 2 exits north. Property was fully booked when we were there and there were a lot of construction/trades crews staying there but all was quite with the exception of our 3rd night and it was not that bad. Very friendly staff and yes breakfast is minimal but hot breakfast at any other extended stay style property is going add at a very minimum, $25 more a night (only saw 1 online and the price went up when I checked the next day). All others were well into the 3 figure range. We ended up cleaning up leftovers from the previous day anyways since we often had to leave before 6 AM. Sadly the nearby Food Giant closed down but there is a new Kroger's on the next exit (Morse) with plenty of bells and whistles! Seen some reviews complaint about how run down the area looks and if take Zumstein off of the main road there are some closed down boarded up sad looking hotels. If you stay on the main road and take it to the next light (Busch) which is less and a quarter mile, hang a right then hang another right at the next light, then the next left followed by the next right and that will drop you on to Zumstein. A more "scenic" and pothole free way in.
ESA at this location is a little off the beaten path. We had to follow our GPS through some dark streets to get to the ESA, but we’re very pleasantly surprised at the accommodations when we arrived. The hotel staff were friendly and the room was excellent!
Great staff! Well kept, clean, updated comfortable rooms with plenty of night security lighting and on duty guards. Close to major highways and streets making venues and events easily accessible. In room kitchenettes, make cooking easy with groceries from many local stores and restaurants that are easy to findeasy to find.
Was overall pretty rundown and dirty. Room shows it’s age. Coffee breakfast bar was bad news - both coffee canisters were empty. Not much good I can say. Looked like transient people in and out all night long.
Just want my money back everything was terrible homeless people stay in there just didn't meet our needs won't ever stay in that hotel again I wish I can get my 67 dollars back a waste of stay wasn't pleased

Do you need a room to stay in to do more interesting things in the Columbus area? Are you a strapped college student, young professional, or frugally minded individual who will sacrifice some cleanliness and amenities for cheap rates? Then this is the hotel for you. The hotel is completely smoke-free, but my room smelled like trapped farts and cigarette smell lingered in the bathroom--lucky we brought our own room spray. Found small hairs in odd places, such as on newly "cleaned" sheets, I hope they were clean anyway. The sheets smelled clean, but I can't explain those eyebrow-like hairs. Overall room was 90% clean but not a very thorough job. Found grime on microwave, chairs, and pop can under the dresser that wasn't mine. I paid $65 through a promotion, but had I paid the original rate of $80+ I may have complained. I used to work at a hotel, and still find them to be all somewhat grimy, that said, I saved $65-$100 by staying here and avoiding the other overpriced places in town. This was more of a motel experience with an apartment style kitchen. They have a grab and go breakfast area, with coffee, oatmeal, granola bars, and mini-muffins. However, the money you save can buy you a decent lunch later. I was also located on the ground floor, and I feel these rooms may be heavily booked for discount rates, and were well worn. The staff was very friendly, and the front desk man Willis was very professional. Hotels are all gross and necessary evils. Would I have felt better to pay $130-150 a night for a room that was cleaned slighly more? No. That said, if I could do it again, I'd look for a hotel near Ashland or some nearby town for a cheaper rate for a nicer hotel. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 experience, but money was saved.
When I checked in their 800agent booked me to be in IN and OH on the same night. Called help desk they said they couldnt do anything about THEIR MISTAKE. I informed the desk agents i was traveling with a band so i would return late (3am) At 9:45 am the GM who is also the housekeeper and the janitor was beating on my door. I was very angry because I had a do not disturb sign on the door. Her answer was "people leave all the time and leave that on the door?! WHAT??? i was pissed. She actually threatened to call the POLICE on me for her error. I am still appalled. I recorded the whole conversation. So disappointing as this was my chain of choice for my bands travel needs.
