We were met with a personal laptop open and actively playing a video not welcoming to guests. When we asked the desk attendant to put the video on pause so we could hear the interaction, he looked at us discontented but obliged only to turn around and restart the video before our check-in was complete. We were greeted to a musty smell when we opened the door to our assigned room. The baseboard at the back of the door was gaping. There was an evident leak in the ceiling above the shower that had been painted over. There was obvious DNA of sorts on the wall across from the toilet. The air conditioner worked at half capacity. There was a sign that warned of towing if you backed into parking spots because of exhaust exposure. We were told the room had been renovated; any renovation was unnoticeable. Overall, an undesirable stay.

The front desk was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, our first room reaked of cigarette smoke (non smoking room), wasn't clean, bedding was dirty, AC didn't work. We switched rooms to one that was better. The condition of the hotel was not well kept up and we didn't feel safe. The only good thing about the experience was the clerk who helped us with the different room.

The hotel is old but clean enough. The room was clean but the carpet was so old and sticky it was unsettling- and I've traveled and stayed in a lot of places! It's a low cost hotel so you get what you pay for - just keep your shoes on and don't stay there if you have young kids that crawl on the ground! Stayed during one week night and didn't really hear any outside noise.

The staff was friendly and helpful. But there's only so much you can do to "shoddy." Our first room's toilet could barely flush. The lighting was so bad I had to use a flashlight to read my map. The maid never made up the room, so the next day we had a different room. At least the toilet flushed and the lighting was better. But, overall, the rooms are dark and dingy. All bulbs must be 25 watts to save a nickel, I guess. The furnishings are passable, but a mishmosh from other hotels, I'm guessing. Rooms are noisy from other guests. The continental breakfast was sparse. Out of orange juice. A few bananas. Few choices. Not even bread for toast. I truly expected better from the "Wyndam" name. I'll definitely think twice next time before I book another Wyndam property.

The front desk staff was very helpful with any & all questions. But the first room I checked into smelled like an ashtray and the 2nd room they offered had housekeeping’s cleaning gloves left on top of the desk. The most disconcerting was that there was no interior security door latch for the rooms—it was removed. As a solo traveling female, I’ve never been in a motel or hotel room that didn’t have that, let alone it being intentionally removed by the establishment. Also the 2 side entrance doors to access the rooms are supposed to be solely accessible by room key card, but the doors open without needing a key card so anyone can enter the facility. Overall, it’s a shady motel with poor/intentionally disabled security measures in place.

The shower and showerhead are very weak, the floors are a wreck, the entry way is falling apart, lots of cabinets but no pans or glasses… not even ice trays! One look at the room and it was nothing like the pictures. The “suite” was in another building and looked to be more of a weekly rental property. I stood outside while my husband went in because the smell coming from the room was not a clean smell. The floor panels were separated and dirty. There were lots of people milling about outside, mostly men, so I also felt unsafe. We went to the office and got a refund and had to find another place to stay for our 5 days in town. Do NOT recommend this place.
