No running water for 2 days and the host never got back to me to fix the issue. Refused to answer calls, texts and emails from support. Beautiful place just nothing worked as it should and the host refusal to answer with 7 children in the home running water is a necessity. Wish we could have enjoyed the full stay with all the things working but just didn’t work out.

Worse Experience!

The exterior of the property wasn't too bad, the inside on the other hand!It was dirty, one could even feel the dust of the house that it had not been cleaned in who knows for how long. Bedding was dirty and smelled like sweat. Spider webs all throughout the inside. The up stairs bathroom's door was damaged and it fell on someone while taking a shower. The guys who stayed downstairs couldn't sleep on a couple of the beds because they were broken. Not to mention the kitchen! It was dirty and the counter under sink was full of mice waste! The hot tub had not being prepared for our arrival. Full of ice and dirt. After asking the host for a refund documentation of these things were requested, I sent them.over and haven't heard anything else from them since then.This home was by far the worse experience to stay!

Owner cancelled Reservation night before stay

I reserved and paid (nonrefundable) for 4 nights at this property in August 2024 for a February 2025 vacation. I checked in with the owner a week before arrival to ask about the hot tub and the outside grill. I was told they were good. There were 8 of us coming. One flying from Dallas, One flying from Florida, 3 different car travelers from Texas (8.5 hr drive).At 7:30 pm the night before we are leaving, the property owner messaged that he is cancelling our reservation. The property is not finished with repairs and the contractor can't finish and I need to cancel.Literally unbelievable. I contacted VRBO, they were awesome! Called the owner and called me back. They refunded our money plus future credit.The problem was booking a house with 10 beds in less than 24 hours. We had to use another service for this trip to find a house immediately.While I highly recommend VRBO for future stays, I would not book this property or with this owner ever again.

Completely frustrated

Our overall impression of this property when we arrived was wow this location/property is BEAUTIFUL . Not to mention we arrived we had a little trouble coming up the steep hill that leads to the property and the neighbors were so sweet they came out with there snow plow truck to clear the roads for us. To our surprise when we opened the door to this huge beautiful cabin it was nothing we imagined. The cabin was never cleaned since the previous guest stayed. Everything was dirty from the kitchen to the rooms to the basement and everything in between. The main living room tv was broken with a slash in the middle. Some light fixture were broken as well. My kids wanted to enjoy the The hot tub, when I went to open up the lid it was completely filthy with green water. We reached out to Kirk the property owner upon arrival and we came to an agreement of 650.00 dollars compensation so that we could clean his property. We were tired and just arrived and didn’t want any more inconvenience. Yet we did not expect to keep on having surprises left and right we had to clean for two days out of our vacation. And then we had to keep dealing with surprises from amenities not being able to be used to things being broken around the house. In my personal opinion if you’re going to charge a lot you have to make sure everything is going to be up to par. This should be completely unacceptable by Vrbo. Our vacation was somewhat ruined for something we paid for that should’ve been 100% that way it wa

Great home in a great location!

We had a great time staying here with our large group, and it is quite remote but not too far from some sweet spots. We enjoyed royal gorge, pikes peak, cripple creek, and seven falls, to name a few of the cool spots. All were within about an hour drive, and the home was a great place to come back to each night. Thanks for the hospitality!

Beautiful property wrap around deck with great views big spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds multiple bathrooms we had 10 people bbqed steaks on the deck and the kitchen table was big enough for all us to sit around and enjoy dinner together with room for more

Stellar views. A memorable experience.

We had a large group of family and friends and absolutely loved the property. Very spacious rooms, a ho-tub, and the surrounding nature make this property a perfect fit for large groups. The owner was very communicative and the place was clean when we checked in. We look forward to renting it out again in the future.
