Very close to garden of gods. Clean, loved the extra room and bunk beds.

A herd of deer greeted us at the property entrance! Along with all the twinkle lights and old fashioned charm.

The Buffalo Lodge was so much fun! It is a very unique property. My kids had so much fun on the bikes and it was great to use them to go into town. Everything is close by. The views are incredible. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

This resort was in a great location near the popular attractions. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The grandkids loved everything about it especially the bunkbeds in their room. We stayed in one of the renovated rooms. It was so homey and comfortable. I would definitely stay at this resort again.

We loved the food Bowie atmosp

Such a sweet place, I hope I can go back and stay more than one night! I got altitude sickness upon arrival and the two women who run the place were so kind and I felt very taken care of even though it happened right during their busy check-in time.

The staff was friendly and helpful. However the room and accomodations were well below expectations. The odor in room was very bad. The window a/c unit was loud the entire time. No plug outlet in room area, we had to charge phones in the bathroom. The TV signal box was broken, nothing came thru TV. Bed was a double size so not very comfy for two adults.

Funky place with a neat history. Great location. Very old.

So much to like! Staff was like family. Lovely atmosphere! Historic old facility which has been nicely renovated. I felt like I was in a quaint little town and in the evening, the romantic street lights and white string lights really created a wonderful atmosphere. The room was great - nice bed and linens. Fridge, mic, nice array of tv channels. Nostalgic decorations throughout the whole place, all bicycle oriented. They have bikes there that you can ride. The pool was heavenly - warm and clean. Nice breakfast with eggs etc. Ping pong and beers in the main lobby. The only minus I can think of was that the last morning, there was no hot water. Love this place and the people who run it!

Unique and great place to stay! Get a room here, especially if you're into riding bikes. The people that own this place are awesome and support inclusion in the cycling industry, which has nothing to do with our awesome stay here, it's just a cherry on top.

This property is in the midst of upgrades and changes. I believe we still had one of the older rooms. We got a great deal on Orbitz. While it may lack in aesthetic swagger, it has great potential and charm. Newly renovated pool was great. Within walking distance from Manitou Springs. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Our boys were delightfully surprised by the "guest bikes" that were available for them to use on the property. We will definitely go back for a quick getaway.

The whole place was super chill, the staff was the best I’ve ever had to deal with , definitely found our place to stay in the springs

Great location and cute property but our room smelled like cigarettes, even though there is no smoking allowed. There were no fly screens in the main window so we couldn’t have the window open. There were only 2 pillows for each queen bed so we could have used a couple more. There were no sheer curtains to add some privacy when the heavy drapes are open so if we had our drapes open, other lodgers could see into our room. Breakfast was very basic continental. Cereal, toast, waffle makers, coffee milk, oj and some fruit. The room was very clean and the service was friendly. With some minor renovation (like ripping up the carpet and replacing it with laminate wood flooring), adding fly screens to all the windows this room could be so much better.

Large, lovely room!! Very comfortable and quiet -- we enjoyed our 2-night stay very much. Loved the lodge with the small lounge and free morning breakfast. We even saw a bobcat as we were loading up to leave!! It was a great taste of old Colorado Springs/Manitou! A nice change from the standard "run-of-the-mill" motel room.

The staff was so nice, Jessica really made the experience great! We stayed in one of the rooms yet to be renovated but everything was nice and clean. It’s such a charming little place to stay! Great location for the attractions!

Under new ownership, EXCELLENT staff! Homey, old west feel... like being in another time and place! Can accommodate gatherings of small and large families. Beautiful main lodge (lobby) with small, limited bar. Free breakfast with those nifty waffle makers, cereal and fruit. Outdoor patio with seating was perfect for playing games in the cool evening breeze. Beds and bathrooms are clean. Under the new ownership, they're still working on updating so low pile carpets are and worn, but NOT nasty, greasy or matted. Outdoor pool is not heated, but I survived... adds a sense of adventure... grrrrr! My 17 year old son said being at Buffalo Lodge was his favorite part of our vacation!

Stayed here for a night while exploring Garden of the Gods. It has a rustic feel which may not be for everyone but I found it charming. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Very comfortable, gals working here are awesome! Great location, good price and comfortable beds...what more can you ask for?
