Everything was ok except that outside my room were dogs barking all night long making it impossible to sleep quitely. Then it was was some birds on the roof making noise again. If you got to this hotel, stay away of room 8208. In the morning I went to complain to the reception desk and the didn’t react to my comments. No apologies, nothing. Very disappointed. In an overall, not such a good night of sleep.

Staff very rude. The room had a horrible smell, complained at the front desk, but no solution. Wanted to leave the hotel, but they said they will charge an extra night if doing that. Something crazy!!!

Nice hotel but a little too far from old town

The hotel was nice but it was a ways out of the old town so you had to take a taxi. The rambla was a beatiful walk but if you're in to walking around the old town for shops, drinks and food, then this is a little too far away

Location noted.

The location is OK for walkers. It is 2 or 3 kilometers from the restaurant clusters. No taxi stop here, but is on the tour bus stop within a block. The motel is a bit older, and the mildew in showers, scratched up nice wood floors, worn couches in the library,... were a few detractors. On check out, it took over a half hour and two calls from the desk to get a cab. Yep... missed a bus, but there was another in 1 1/2 hours. (a minus 1 star deal). On the bright side, my wife loved a reflexology session at the spa.

Overall experience didn’t match expectations

The hotel had good installations and was an easy 5 minute drive to downtown. The staff was polite, but not very friendly. Breakfast was a good option to what’s availabe in Colonia and at a fair price (by local standards), but it was 90% sweets and only had bread, butter, cheese and ham as salty. options.

Good hotel, great spa!

The hotel was nice, the staff very friendly. The room was pretty small, but comfortable. The main issue was the bathroom. There were rust stains and mold around the shower. The restaurant had delicious salads and again really wonderful staff. The best part of the hotel is the spa. We had a great experience. The massage therapist was excellent. It’s about a 30 minute very pleasant walk along the rambla from the hotel to the old part of colonia. There is a stop on the road at the end of the hotel property for the tourist bus. It was very convenient.

We went to swimming pool at 8:30 Pm stayed only for 15 minutes. Then we went to change. At 9 PM they turn off all the lights. No lights at all. I need to shout out, then turned on and wait we finish and another two persons too. Terrible.

Great facilities and good location

We were staying here for 2 nights. The hotel and staff were lovely. We made great use of the indoor pool and gym as sadly it was raining non stop whilst we were there. Nice and clean and modern room.

Hotel needs a renovation

Re-launched hotel needs a renovation already. It rained heavily during our stay, and water was leaking in several places. On top of that, the roof was extremely noisy making it hard to sleep. Restaurant service was not good.

Despite what they say, this is not a luxury hotel

Room had electrical issues, power shut off and made zapping/buzzing sounds when trying to get it back on. Toilet overflowed and could not be stopped, not even by maintenance, so water spewed into the carpeted room. Faucet was extremely loose and we expected it to disconnect at any time. Double beds were 2 twin beds pushed together, so extremely uncomfortable. Despite getting a new room, with the same poor quality, no compensation was given for all the issues we had. Instead we discovered other rooms had the same electrical problems and other issues due to poor maintenance. Restaurant was also nothing special, but was pricey, even had to pay per person to use the table.

Will not stay there again, services was not good , rooms small, toilet seat broken, room smelled I had to ask the maid to spray air freshner. The pool and souna was good but toilets were very dirty, The hotel looks great at 1st impression clean in the general area. Internet keeps failing?? Towels warn out, had to take taxi to downtown. Breakfast was basic, there were no refills for bacon. Will not stay again.

Nice hotel, i would stay again

Although i dont think is a 5 star hotel, is a nive play to stay, we got a promotion and the price was fair. The reception stuff not so nice (she wouldnt let us order pizza delivery) and the breakfast not so great. Big room with a great view.
