Room was nice, clean and comfortable. Check-in service was courteous and friendly. However, for some reasons, no one came to clean the room for 4 days. There was no telephone in the room for you to call housekeeping or the front desk. And when I wanted to complain at the front desk, there was no one at front desk at all during check out. And on Sunday, this place provides ZERO service - front desk, housekeeping, and etc. Even all the doors to outside were locked in the middle of day, making it very inconvenient if you need to go out. And as a result, again I had no one to complain to about the situation regarding housekeeping on Sunday.

It was great pet friendly hotel in a very quaint area.

Cute historic little hotel. The location was perfect for what we needed it for, within walking distance of several bars and resturants.

We stayed there a few years back. The hotel seemed run down. and the carpet smelled. The headboard had holes poked in it. The window had a shade but no curtains or valance. We asked for a handicapped room and extra blankets and received neither. The breakfast started at 8. We said we needed earlier. They have us a gift card for the restaurant across the street - which also opened at 8. We won’t stay there again. We were very disappointed.

Great soaking tub in deluxe suite—hot bath after long day is excellent!

great views, convenient location, comfy bed & pillows. I slept really well!

The rooms are small if you don’t get the suite, but well appointed. The staff is hardworking and quick to respond. It’s great to be in the center of the action in downtown Bryan. Breakfast isn’t provided. They only serve brunch on Sunday and that menu looked great. The on-site restaurant is creative and has a New Orleans flair. The downstairs “speakeasy” is appropriate to a building built during prohibition. There are shows (and cover) every night but Sunday and Monday.

You felt like you were in a hotel that was a “grand” hotel from the era when hotels were often unique. This was a pleasant stay in an atmosphere of hard working staff ready to please. Downtown Bryan is experiencing a renaissance with one-of-kind entertainment, shops, galleries and restaurants. This hotel is a great way to relax and experience those attractions close at hand.

Loved the old building feel of this property, just what we had hoped for. Plenty of places to go within minutes of walking or driving. We loved hanging out downtown the evening we arrived and it only took a few minutes the next day to make it out to the Presidential library in College Station.

Very well appointed and maintained for an older hotel. Walking distance to lots of shops, restaurants and bars. Parking is difficult and a bit inconvenient to carry bags long distance, but overall nice place.

They called and told me they were doing some maintence to some rooms and had to move our reservation to the Hilton Garden. The staff was friendly about it and it is nice that they were able to get me another room somewhere else. But, it was dissapointing because this is where my wife and I got married and we were going to stay there again for our anniversary.

Great location, nice staff, clean room. Overall disappointing as the pictures make the place look like a full restored awesome retro hotel which it is not. The hallways smell like an old hotel that has been closed for 6 months. Our window shade completely fell down. Room was much smaller than it looked in the picture.

This is an old hotel, it is about to be 100. Even being that old it is in super condition. The rooms are clean. The bathrooms have been updated and do not have the wear you would think in a hotel this age. The only thing that could be a problem is that you can hear train whistles at night. This hotel is in the heart of downtown Bryan. Great location.

The rooms don't feel so confortable if somebody is in the bathroom you don't have an extra mirror in the room to do your makeup. And never have enough food for the breakfast you have to wait , The staff was kindly

This historic hotel is lovely but it is very close to 2 railway crossings and there are trains about every 2 hours. If you're a light sleeper it may not be for you even with the complimentary ear plugs. The train whistle is long & loud. However, if you sleep like a log (that'd be me!!) it's lovely!!!

Thank you for your comments. I'm sorry you issues were not addressed upon check out. Due to Covid we do not offer stay over service, however we do offer fresh towels and toiletries on request. This is noted on a note at the front desk. Unfortunately the pandemic has caused much inconvenience and hopefully we will be able to resume full staff and features in the near future. Best regards
