Breakfast menu was great .. everything freshly cooked to your taste .. homemade wheaten bread was first class! Open log fire in the snug was wonderful & the craic at the bar was awesome! The Brown Trout Golf and Country Inn was perfect. Very friendly staff. Had two meals here. Had lovely food and plenty of it. The breakfasts were also good. Had English and then had a lighter breakfast the next day, yoghurt and fruit with toast to follow. The room was also lovely, our own little cottage style room. Plenty of space and comfortable and clean. The lounge area was cosy as well with a log fire. I could have stayed here a week.
