Very nice cottage in ideal location for the town centre. Check in was smooth and the cottage was very clean and tidy. My husband and I stayed with our adult son who was house hunting in Colchester. It might not be suitable for someone with poor mobility as the stairs were very narrow and steep and the bathroom was downstairs, but it was fine for us. Also very well equipped. Leaving a brolly would have been useful as we got caught in a shower walking to the car park...!
