Initially I found this place on Groupon and bought a voucher to use. I didn't check the valid dates though (completely my fault) and so when I went to book the voucher wasn't valid for the dates I wanted. However Shannon was amazing and helped me to get my money back from Groupon and let me book the dates I wanted at the same price as the Groupon! The room was great with a kitchenette, living space and large bedroom. The outside eating area was lovely and we could walk straight out of our room to the pool area which was cleaned daily. The beach is so close that we would leave the sliding doors open at night to listen to the waves crash as we slept. The beach is like a private little bay and hardly ever had anyone on it. There's even a free laundry on site which proved useful for us when we had a bottle leak in one of our bags requiring the bag, clothes and towel all needing to be washed. The location is a little bit outside of Coffs Harbour but it literally took us less than 5 mins to get to the big Banana and under 10 mins to get into main streets of Coffs. The airport was less than 15 mins away. You need a car for Coffs Harbour area anyway to get to all the beautiful national parks, explore the coast and to see the other local attractions so this wasn't an issue for us all. Smugglers truly felt like a private little slice of paradise and we would definitely return!

We stayed one night but wished it could be longer. Great location and accommodation. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Very good value. Warm welcome at reception. Lovely pool area with lots of thoughtful inclusions around bbq area with bbq tools oil etc. Great value for money. Will definitely be back.

We are a family of 5 with teenage children and we have just got back from 4 nights at Smugglers. We found the accommodation to be very clean, spacious and the kitchen was very well equipped for our family and the guests we had for dinner a few nights. There were huge doors onto the outdoor areas which made the main room bright and breezy. The pool area was lovely and the outdoor kitchen had everything you would need if you wanted to BBQ by the pool and the gardens were well maintained. The staff were very friendly and the location was fabulous close to everything. The only thing that we thought could be improved were the pillows which were not very comfortable, but that was a very minor issue as the rest of the bedding was very comfortable. We would definitely stay again when we come back to the area.

we stayed at the hotel for the first time unfortunately just for one night and were very impressed with the room, service from Michelle who guided us to the property as we found the map a bit hard to read not an easy place to find We have suggested to put a bigger map on the web site which should show what streets to turn off into, I know that the council will not allow proper sign posting but showing what streets to turn into will make it a lot easier Found our hotel and were very impressed with our room and all the facilities We will certainly come back for a longer stay next time

I arrived quite late, and the hotel was very organised leaving all the information and key ready for me. Room was very clean, and spacious, I had 1 double room and another with a double and single bed in side. Shower work very well, did not try the spa bath although looked inviting. Location also great right next door to the beach, with BBQ and pool on site. Would certainly come back again. One element which might have been in reception but I was too late was local information. I had to google for a taxi and other info, and that would be helpful if provided. Again this might have been in reception and I missed it.

Just spent 5 relaxing nights at Smugglers at Korora, Coffs Harbour. Rooms were terrific- well maintained and spotlessly clean. Everything you needed was there! Used the BBQ in the pool area for dinner and breakfast- once again everything was there including tea and coffee! Shannon,in reception, was very friendly and had a wealth of information for 'Things to do'. We did the Solitary Island Coastal Walk into Coffs.- took 1 hour 15 minutes- well worth it. Loved whale watching on the beach at the resort too! We'll be back!

Fantastic place to stay. Rooms are large. Very clean and tidy. Staff are nice and helpful. Beautiful place to stay. Great barbecue and pool area. Right on the beach. Definitely be happy to stay there again.

We booked Smuggles after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor. A holiday in Coffs was a must as we also meet family halfway between Sydney and Brisbane. They also stayed on the property in another unit. The location of the units is idea if you love to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. The ocean is only at the back of the units. But a word of warning, the beach is a pebble beach and is unpatrolled which is fine as the units have two pools. One for the kids with ankle deep water and a deep one for adults. The BBQ at the pool is clean an has utensils as well a fridge and running water. You just need to bring your meat and salad ! The units themselves are privately owned so they vary in decor. They have done some work but are not overly tired and are clean. The kitchens in the units are great and well equipped with the basics. A dishwasher is present in most if not all units also. The unit are fairly quiet. You get the usual noise of the surrounding units but at night you can hear the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. There was no better way to fall asleep at night nor wake up to in the morning. The location of the units is well off the highway in the bottoms of a residential area so there is very limited traffic noise. I would highly recommend this establishment to others and we will be back the next time we are coming to coffs.

What a charming place. Beautifully situated next to the beach, with tropical grounds, a pristine swimming pool and spotless, comfortable and user friendly room layout this a real find for the price. We enjoyed the large sun soaked balcony overlooking the pool. Perfect for family holidays or a few nights to explore the area.

This was our second stop on a family road trip and we were all pleasantly impressed. Staff were friendly, helpful and sincerely wanting us to enjoy our stay. The unit was very clean and well maintained. Being right on the beach was great for family walks and fun in the winter sun. Great location, close enough for getting want you need and attraction but felt like you were in a secluded resort it was so peaceful. We will go back.
