Walk To Lake CDA And The Resort From This 3 Bed Home
The Space:
Park the car and experience Coeur d'Alene on foot from Flying Colors Cottage, a private 3-bedroom, 2-bath home in the heart of downtown CDA. The Coeur d'Alene Resort, Lake Coeur d'Alene, Sherman Avenue, Tubbs Hill, McEuen Park, restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, and downtown attractions are all within walking distance.
The home comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests and offers the space and privacy of an entire home while keeping you close to everything downtown. With a full kitchen, fast WiFi, two full bathrooms, a newly landscaped private yard, and parking for up to 4 vehicles, Flying Colors Cottage is an easy home base for a weekend getaway, family visit, event weekend, or a longer stay in North Idaho.
Inside, large windows fill the living area with natural light and create a bright, comfortable place to relax after a day exploring Coeur d'Alene. Comfortable seating, a Smart TV, and surround sound make it easy to settle in for a quiet evening or movie night at home.
The fully equipped kitchen features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. Enjoy breakfast before heading downtown, make dinner together after a day of exploring, or take advantage of having a complete kitchen when staying for a week or longer.
Flying Colors Cottage has three separate bedrooms and sleeps up to 6 guests. The main-floor bedroom features a queen bed. Upstairs, the second bedroom also has a queen bed, while the third bedroom has two twin beds. This setup works especially well for families, couples traveling together, or groups who appreciate having separate sleeping spaces.
The home also has two full bathrooms located on separate levels. Having a bedroom and full bathroom on the main level provides additional flexibility, while the second bathroom upstairs makes mornings and evenings easier when traveling with family or friends.
Step outside and enjoy the newly landscaped private yard and patio. It's a peaceful spot for morning coffee, relaxing after exploring downtown, or spending a quiet evening outside. Having your own outdoor space while staying this close to downtown gives Flying Colors Cottage a combination that's difficult to find in central Coeur d'Alene.
One of the property's biggest advantages is its parking. Flying Colors Cottage provides parking for up to 4 vehicles, with one space in front of the home and three additional spaces behind the property. Downtown parking can be challenging during busy weekends and events, so having dedicated space at the house is a major convenience. Once you arrive, however, you may find that your vehicles stay parked for much of your trip.
Downtown Coeur d'Alene
The location is the real standout at Flying Colors Cottage. Start your morning with coffee downtown, walk the trails at Tubbs Hill and take in the lake views, spend the afternoon browsing the shops along Sherman Avenue, visit McEuen Park, or head to the Coeur d'Alene Resort for dinner. At the end of the evening, simply walk back to your cottage instead of worrying about driving or finding another parking spot.
Lake Coeur d'Alene, the Resort, Sherman Avenue, Tubbs Hill, McEuen Park, downtown restaurants, coffee shops, local breweries, boutique shopping, beaches, and waterfront areas are all nearby. You'll also be conveniently located for seasonal festivals, markets, concerts, weddings, and other downtown events throughout the year.
As summer winds down, Coeur d'Alene takes on a different feel. Cooler temperatures, changing leaves, scenic trails, downtown dining, and fewer summer crowds make fall an especially enjoyable time to explore the area. Flying Colors Cottage gives you a central place to experience it all while still having a private home to return to at the end of the day.
Perfect for a Weekend or a Longer Stay
Flying Colors Cottage is equally comfortable for a quick getaway or an extended visit to Coeur d'Alene. With three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a complete kitchen, fast WiFi, private outdoor space, and generous parking, you have everything needed to settle in and make yourself at home.
The property is a great option for families visiting the area, couples traveling together, wedding and event guests, remote workers, house-hunting or relocation trips, and travelers who want more than just a few days to experience North Idaho. Weekly and extended-stay savings may be available depending on your dates.
Guest Access
Guests have private access to the entire home, including the backyard, patio, and outdoor spaces. Self check-in makes arrival simple and convenient, and the home is entirely yours to enjoy throughout your reservation.
Good to Know Before Booking

The house was perfect for 3 sisters getting together from across the country. The remodel is beautiful. We didn't really cook, but the kitchen and the baths were well outfitted. Would definitely stay here again.
The location of this home was perfect. We could walk to grocery stores, restaurants, and the lake. The interior finishes of the home were nice and the AC worked great. We enjoyed evening walks all around the neighborhood which felt safe. People were friendly. Definitely a location I'd return to.It appeared the yard was a work in progress. Unfinshed sprinkler system pipes were visible and the outdoor landscaping was weeds and dirt making it unusable. This was not as shown in the listing pictures or description. I'm sure once it is finished it will be a great place to enjoy outside time.
