Was there during monsoons 😀 Had an awesome time. The menu is good, staff hardworking and courteous. They would take that extra effort to make you comfortable. The spa needs to beef up with the amenities and cleanliness though. The chefs are awesome. The upkeep of the rooms will make you praise the housekeeping more than once. Good experience.

Nice room, clean has free wifi, air-con, bathroom with good water-pressure in shower but the service in the restaurant was a big disappointment. The lady who had to (ob-)serve our table of 14 was not hospitable nor present at all. Also the selection of food was very POOR ! Note that there was a BUFFET but there was of group of quite rude English speaking travelers who ordered their food at the waiters who were running around with hot soup and foodstuff for them. Also at during breakfast they ordered by the waiters who then occupied the ONE MANNED show cooking stand for too long, when you came to ask for an omelet at breakfast you were told that you were number 9 in line !

Loved this hotel. The staff members are extremely friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the aircon works. Wifi is free and works well. We loved the pool area with palm trees and comfortable sun beds. There are only 9 or 10 however so if the hotel was busy there might be a problem. Also loved having breakfast by the pool and they had great bacon. Dinner buffet was ok usual Indian dishes not much meat and not many Western dishes. I met 3 lovely waitresses from Mizoram in the north , they were so friendly and helpful excellent customer service . The laundry service in the hotel was speedy and reasonable . I would recommend this hotel .

This is a moderate priced hotel on Wilmington Island. The location is not very convenient for the attractions of Cochin as it a ride away from all of them. However you can get a tuq-tuq or use Uber which is generally cheaper than tuq-tuq or taxis. The rooms are clean and comfortable with air conditioning and WiFi. The pool is lovely and the staff friendly. The restaurant has a buffet as do many others in the area. A good place to relax before or after a full on tour.

Not quite the location I was expecting, so I was a little disappointed. However, Cochin was not up to my expectations (due to seeing a TV programme) so the lovely clean pool and calm hotel compensated. Sadly I wasn't able to sample the food due to illness.

Lovely hotel and the staff cannot do more for you. Location is not in Fort Cochin, it is next to a Navy base. You can get to the centre via the ferry, which doesn’t take long but a bit of walk to where you catch it. A taxi or rickshaw is about 20 mins but you have to negotiate before you leave the centre as some drivers don’t like going that far! The hotel is absolutely lovely though and you cannot move for staff trying to help you and make your stay pleasant.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is super clean, food is decent and service spectacular. Trident at its best. The bar or the excellent restaurant, maintain the high standards. No hesitation at all to recommend this fine, fine place.

This was our first couple of nights in India and a very good place to start! Room, staff and meals all quality, but not cheap, and beware none of the local ATM's accept International Bank Cards. The pool is lovely with a great fish restaurant adjacent, best scampi I've ever had!

Stayed here for two nights during an 18 day tour of the south of India with Newmarket Travel. Probably the best service of all 10 hotels we stayed in, staff very cheerful and attentive. Pool was great, and changing areas clean and tidy. A very relaxed feel to the whole hotel.

We ate dinner at hotel we didn’t stay there. Their service was amazing. Food was good. My daughter wasn’t well and they offered her a special dish to help her stomach! Without us asking. They noticed she wasn’t eating. Amazing!
