It was our first time in Cochin and the Holiday Inn was recommended to us. It is well located, close to everything and easy to get around. The restaurant had a great selection of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff were friendly and only too willing to help. We will definitely be back and would recommend to others.
This is one of the cleanest, and friendliest hotels we have ever visited. The staff at the Holiday Inn Cochin India were some of the kindest and most grateful people that we have ever met. The front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant staff here made staying at this location very comfortable. We barely had to lift a finger as they were ready to assist us with our every request. The rooms are kept very clean, and the housekeeping staff would come anytime we needed them (day or night). Also, they respect the "DO NOT DISTURB" light. I can't say anything nasty about this hotel as they were on their game.
I highly recommend this hotel. Staff's are amazing. They actually care about you and make sure your stay is comfortable. IT wifi staff are very helpful,Whenever I travel to kochi it is the only place I will stay.i will come back soon.
We stayed for two nights and had a great time. Rooms are spacious and well furnished like usual Holiday Inn properties. View from room was amazing. Breakfast was good with wide varieties of dishes. Only improvement I would request is the quality of wifi which can be slow at times. Food quality was good. Room service is fast and efficient. Lulu Mall is around 4.5 km but traffic around Lulu Mall can be really busy. The hotel does not have SPA or Massage.
A very functional business hotel Large lobby with efficient check in and reception staff. They anticipated all our needs and reduced waiting times. The room was large and well organised and functional The staff at the breakfast room was helpful to find place even when seemingly full A very good hotel!
We were very impressed with the Holiday Inn in Kochi. We got the very last room, and despite it being a smoking room, it was a lovely place to stay. The bed and pillows were luxuries we didn't expect. The best part was the New Years Eve party! Again, a total surprise and well worth the money. We ate well, drank plenty and danced with our new friends.
This is a 5 star hotel in Kochi, some 5km from the Lulu Mall. The quality is as you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Rooms are spacious (easy to add a spare bed), well equipped (AC, etc). Staff are polite and helpful. There is a simple outdoor pool (no shade in case you want to relax next to the pool). The only downside was that the WIFI was very unpredictable: sometimes it did not work, sometimes it was slow, sometimes it worked normally - very frustrating. Depending on what you want to visit in Kochi, the location of the hotel may not be optimal. Consult a map, and be aware that traffic in Kochi can be awful. On the other hand, as the road in front of the hotel is a main road, to some destinations it may be faster than having to go through small and narrow streets. We did not explore the neighborhood, but judging from the views from a taxi, it seems there is not much going on within walking distance around the hotel. In short: very good hotel.
Its Best Hotel In Cochin & Near To Tourist Places Spacious Lobby & Great Staff Breakfast is great specially South Indian Taste Room are clean & spacious Amenities are good Overall good for leisure and business travel PS: I love Kerala Black Halwa
Howdy! So I have stayed in Trident, Kochi and Keys Kochi. So for my third time I thought I will stay at Holiday Inn (than Trident as I got a good deal on offer). So am I satisfied with my choice? Hmmmm… Maybe not. Absolutely no personalised Service or feeling. Just one person greets when you enter and everyone else feels as though we are intruding and no friendly hello etc. This is a drag as I felt like I was in a no frills hotel like Keys or Ibis etc. Comparing to Trident we were embarrassed with the attention we get :). I book star hotels for my family only for the personalised Service and the attention which was completely missing. But the general Service was top notch. Pros. 1. Location is good as it is in the ring road type. Everything is around 6-8 kms. For e.g.: Lulu mall is 3 kms and Oberan mall is 1 kms etc. 2. Good rooms and bathrooms. 3. Super Awesome Breakfast!!! 4. Super Awesome Breakfast!!! (this one for the Kerala food :)) Cons 1. Not so friendly and personalised Service (Take away 1 star) 2. Issue with booking from their website and the actual database they had in hotel. I don’t want to drag it here as they apologised umpteen times but it left a sour taste (Take away 1/2 star) So my rating is 3.5 *. Will I go here again when I visit Kochi? Sorry, No. I would love to go back to Trident. Don’t get me wrong, it is still a great hotel. Just that I didn’t feel in place and wanted. Also, the swimming pool was not inviting and the Spa area etc were basic.
I stayed there office trips , it’s always fantastic to be dere . 1. They have excellent staff very polite ND gentle . 2. Rooms and amenities are world class. 3. Gym is great only thing treadmills are not connected to ups so in case of electricity failure they stops suddenly ND runner might get hurt . The marble slab in steamroom gets very very hot ND unbearable to sit that can be improved .otherwise facilities makes you feel sitting in lap of luxury . 4. Food is superb served by fantastic staff . ALL IN ALL GREAT PLACE TO BE IN.
