The staff was friendly and check in was seamless. The breakfast consists of grab and go items like muffins, pastries, yogurt and fruit cups individually packaged. They also have packaged oatmeal and fresh apples. There is water, apple juice, orange juice, tea and coffee. The rooms are clean and updated but lack usb charging ports. I was in the area to visit the College so it is a great option for this type of visit. You have plenty of food options throughout the area with Wal-Mart close to the property.

The front desk staff was great. Housekeeping said nothing and did not make eye contact. Desk chair was dirty, other chair ripped and dirty. The bed was broken and sank in the middle.

Short trip

Trip to visit a daughter that lives in Delmar. Did not want to stay in Albany. We stop to eat in cobleskil on our trips home and saw the hotel. I asked for a handicap accessible room due to my husband having a terrible limp from an accident. Bed was very comfortable. But shower floor was a bit slippery. But overall room was neat and tidy. Counter people were very friendly and helpful. We are from Montoursville PA.

Refund not issues

Such a ridiculous management. I was stuck on highway due to bad weather and my elderly parents could not travel. Even after this genuine reason both hotels.com management and super 8 management declined my refund request. I am no long going to use hotel.com for any of my future bookings. Pathetic customer service.

We will look for Whyndam properties on future travels. Everything was clean and well maintained and the Cobleskill property had the best free breakfast of any lodging we have reserved!

Stay was quite adequate. Room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately we were on the second floor and my husband has great difficulty with steps and there was no elevator so that was a bit of a struggle.

Everything is a 5 minutes drive away to Walmart to price chopper. You name it they have it, the restaurant selections are good too to fast food to bars and sit down places.

Rachel at check-in was awesome- welcoming, professional and friendly. We checked in around 10:00 pm and noticed right away that the room smelled musty, but we were too exhausted to keep driving. One of the lamps wasn’t working. The floor was moist to the point that my wife kept her shoes on until she got into bed. In the morning we discovered the moldy crack in the tub, hidden under the carefully arranged bath mat. All of us were having allergy issues- days later, my sinuses are still clogged. The breakfast was so bad, we just used the hotel toaster to heat our own bagels.

…the tub itself was broken!

We stayed at Super 8 in Cobleskill NY from Aug.4- Aug 6th. Our King room was average but clean. AC was cold, there was a mini fridge and microwave. You could hear footsteps from upstairs, but quieted down by 11pm. Our only complaint was a very slow draining tub (after taking a shower). Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast consists of packaged muffins, pasteries, granola bars, toast, yogurt, coffee and juices. Nice to have some food included with your stay.

Great service! The staff was warm and friendly, especially the lovely associate who checked us in on Saturday afternoon. She was so helpful! The property is clean, but does show signs of age. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were very soft. I’m not sure if they have options. Overall, a pleasant stay for an overnight.

Bare bones hotel with friendly staff. Convenient to “downtown” Cobleskill and some restaurants. Can recommend the Bull’s Head Inn for dinner. Relatively inexpensive hotel and perfectly fine for a night or two.
